Muppets are a given. Now, on with the (only slightly shorter... :p) list:
Glee (I am a teenage girl Broadway nerd. What did you expect?)
The Office
Parks & Recreation
Big Bang Theory
House
Scrubs
Wipeout (actually, every "watching people make idiots out of themselves for money"- type...
I didn't like it, to me it's the most just plain boring Pixar movie. It drags on, which is even worse in a movie for children (and me) with decreased attention spans. It's animated beautifully and the anthropomorphication doesn't bother me; the story is weak. The huge adventure/destination/goal...
80s. I remember some of the 90s (born in 1995... so I can only remember the last two years...) but I've always felt like I grew up around what would prepare me to be a teenager in the 80s (both my parents are nostalgic ex-punks). It's just kind of better. I feel like I can relate to that decade...
I spent the entire movie either crying, laughing, or with my mouth agape. It made my dad cry. I heard sobbing (different from my own). It's THAT good. In my theater there were at least 5 rounds of applause at different instances. People were louder than normal but no one cared, because everyone...
Nope, there's plenty of organic things and just, like, regular food. But sweets are always more fun. :D The only cereal I can stand to eat, sugary or not, is Cookie Crisp. (Yes, I am a child. It's COOKIES. Nutritional value, pfft. Cookies for breakfast!)
And Vegemite, right? Which I've heard...
From Chelsea Dagger (The Blackhawks song, dadodo dadodo dadodododododo...)
Actual: "Gave me gear/Thank you dear/Bring your sister over here/Let her dance with me just for the h*ll of it."
Heard: "Give me gear, shoot a deer, bring assistance over here, let their dogs sniff me just for the...
Lol, it's weird to think of sweets as "exotic". I prefer Reese's Pieces, though, which are pretty much the same thing. Yes, Americans like soda. A LOT. (*guilty RC addict*) We invented Mountain Dew, jeluz? (Even though I think it's awful, it's more American than apple pie.)
Pizza Goldfish are...
Mmm, but some of the weirdest things are the best, though. Do they still sell pickle flavored Lays chips? YUM. (Is it Lays or Lay's? Methinks it's with an apostrophe... rargh.) The pretzel is in the middle? Sounds good, like smaller chocolate-covered pretzels, M&Mified. I've always felt bad for...
My mom and I got into an actual ARGUMENT about the etiquette surrounding singing a song that is stuck in your head. I maintain that it's rude, that's akin to sneezing in someone's face (i.e thus the song will spread to another person and annoy them). But she thinks that the only way to remove...
You mean Henson as a middle name or is your last name coincidentally Henson (lucky you)? I like the name Richard anyway, so I might if I ever have a son.
When someone (usually intentionally, not in this case) links to that video (Rick Astley = RICKroll. I don't know where the roll comes from...) just to annoy other people. Aly's wasn't intentional, but I clicked it and that was the first thing I thought of.
I'm terrible at all modern video games (Rock Band, DDR, anything on Wii etc.) but I love Pacman and Space Invaders and Tetris and the like. So what if they're 30 years old? As for Empire I saw it when I was home sick from school when I was pretty young-- Darth Vader scared the bjeezes out of me.
