    Strangest Muppet Groupings

I have no idea what he's talking about. But I do have a coloring book that came fairly recently that has a picture of Beau alone on the last page. It's weird because most of the book has Kermit, Piggy, Beaker, Gonzo, Animal and possibly Bean (you know, the usual crew anymore) and then there's...

Three New DVD's coming on 07/02/2005

I don't even know what R2 means. Can the disc be played on a Playstation 2? That's the only DVD player I own. I hope so because this news has me really excited.

Muppet College Dorms: The Next Semester

I hate waiting around for financial advisers. I was trying to apply for financial aid but I ended up being rejected for a job at NASA. I don't even want to work for NASA. Link: Do you have a problem with space exploration? Me: Of course not, Link. You know I respect your profession...

    Sick thread post

It would certainly prove The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy wrong if you had. "Mostly harmless"...pssh. Wait til those aliens watch Independence Day, they'll think twice. If anyone has read the book I am referring to, cool . If not, check it out sometime. Hey Dee. You're welcome. :D...

    New movies coming out...

Talk about an acquired taste! I've seen it and it made me laugh, but I don't know that it's worth seeing a second time. However, the fourth and fifth graders I work with love it and are constantly quoting that goofy guy.

What are your top 100 movies?

Grrr. Never again am I making a list without my movies in front of me. I am removing Something About Mary and 50 First Dates so I can add From Dusk Til Dawn and The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. I'm sure more changes are on the way. As for the Re-Animator, I saw a piece about it on one of...

If you enjoy Labyrinth, I recommend...

I like Labyrinth, and so far everyone has made some really good adventure/fantasy lists. I really enjoy Willow, The Princess Bride, The Mummy Goonies, LOTR Trilogy, Star Wars Trilogy (4, 5 & 6) and Indiana Jones Trilogy. Here's a few I would add -Hellboy -Army of Darkness (can't bring...

    New movies coming out...

Thank everyone for your imput on White Noise...I think I saved myself 7 bucks this weekend. Hey maxdrive, a Spaceballs 2? Is that actually in the works? I've heard nothing about it but I hope it isn't real. Is Mel Brooks attached? With Mel Brooks, I either love him or don't. Love him...

    Is Yoda considered a Muppet?

Yoda is as much a Muppet as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles from live action flick 1. Like Beauregard said, Jim Henson's Creature Shop did help build Yoda (it was Jim who suggested that Frank be cast as the voice of Yoda) but Yoda, Rafael and Kermit all belong in their own categories.

Back to School (1986) remake in production

That's Hollywood for you: remakes and sequels. Heaven forbid someone come up with something creative and turn it into an original, thought provoking and enjoyable movie. Sometimes remakes can be pretty good (I like the newer Ocean's 11). And sometimes, remakes can just make you cry (Godzilla...

    Henson may make more Fraggles

Gerry Parkes has been in some TV movies since '98 or '99, and appeared in a 2004 feature film. But I still love him as a stuttering bartender with Tourette's syndrome in Boondock Saints. However, I doubt they'll bring back a Doc/Sprocket dynamic duo starring the same performers.

    Sick thread post

(Mimicking an old man voice) You know, in my day, we didn't have these fancy-shmancy "DVD" players or the "Internet". You young kids don't know how lucky you are to have such great technology at your fingertips whilse yous stay away from school. I guarantee, if I had all the DVD's then that I...

    Muppets Series 10

I agree with everything! Palisades just blew me away with their attention to detail. Sideshow's busts are awesome as well, but the absence of Floyd was like a slap in the face (let's see...I'm just going to go over the Electric Mayhem bust checklist here...Dr. Teeth, check. Janice, check...

What are your top 100 movies?

I do love both Dawn of the Deads. I didn't list them because I was at work and surrounded by three fourth graders constantly asking what my movies were about. I told them that they had to be teenagers to see a lot of the films. As an edit, I'm going to replace the both Shreks and Men at Work...

    Has Sesame become less educational?

Well said. I agree totally with both points. Potty humor is totally unnecessarry. Did Bugs Bunny ever bend over and let one slip in Elmer Fudd's face? I guess I'm not sure when quality of television slipped. Did it begin with Beavis and Butthead? I think Ren and Stimpy were just a bit...
