Well, dip me in ginger and call me sweet potato pie! That's not a shabby idea! We get a cool Kermit with a banjo, a cool Robin (hopefully he's removable from his log) and some much needed alternative veggies! No Sal, Vet's Hospital or penguin, but at least now we know what to expect. There's...
I got that same shirt for Christmas...it's actually in the laundry this very moment. If you like that and have money, check out this site:

Well, welcome back! It's like we're all in our car and you're Miss Piggy hitching a ride to Hollywood all over again, only you're a guy. At least, I think you're a guy based on your name.
How cool would that be? If you find such a forum, please let me know. Not that I need something else to keep my attention from my schooling. I will probably kick myself at some point this year for deciding to get into the Master's Program. I should have just stuck with my status as starving...
The only reason I pointed that out was to stop myself from rambling. Like Steve Martin, I too am a Ramblin' Guy. I could talk movies all day and night and still have stuff to talk about. I just didn't want to bore or annoy any of our fellow boarders who may want to keep the dorm motif going...
That actually is a neat idea. What would be funny is a bunch of role reversals, ie. Gobo's kid is a wimpy germ-killer, Mokey's kid is an overactive athlete, Boober's kid keeps wandering out into outer space, etc. Maybe the kids could all go to Travelin' Matt for wisdom and the original cast...
I forgot about Paul Giamatti. Even if he were to be nominated, it would be huge for him. I really like his work and it would be nice for him to get some recognition. Clive Owen is probably the favorite to win BSA considering his GG win. Morgan Freeman is just too cool and too classy not to...
So much negativity. Be strong, think happy thoughts and the dreams that you wish will come true ;) . If it's Dirth Nader, it's Dirth Nader. I don't know why it would be though...the concept doesn't fit in with anything else the line has to offer (ie. Invisible figures, Superhero figures...
Thanks very much to Dee and Andy Wan Kenobi. Methinks I shall be renting that flick along with perhaps The Clearing with Robert Redford. My wife really wants to see that one.
Robin Williams is cool. The most prominant image I get right now is his getup in Death to Smoochy.
As for John Cleese, I love that guy. He's the main reason I own Rat Race on DVD. I'd have to say that his most memorable performance was his cameo in The Great Muppet Caper.
I'm not...
That's very clever. You make it sound so basic. I kind of want to try building my own puppets but I'm easily frustrated and not very artistic. I'm eager to see the finished product.
I've seen pictures and read the bit from the screenplay. It's too bad it was cut because 1. Rowlf is my favorite Muppet and 2. like Kermit riding a bicycle, it was a huge achievement in puppetry.
Could someone give me a rundown of Garden State? I keep hearing that it's good but what is it? Is it a romance? A comedy? Is it comparable to any other movie I may have seen? I ask because there are a billion movies on my list to see and I bump movies up on the list based on how "must-see"...
That guy writing that article is a wuss! I know sometimes as kids people got scared of Sesame Street or Muppet characters but please! The Yip Yip Marians were always cool in my book, and they are probably the Muppets I quote the most in day to day conversation ("Yip yip yip yip, uh-huh, uh-huh").
Good morning everyone! Glad to see you all up and about today! Hey Dee, good to see you! Link and I are doing fine...we did some reminiscing last night by watching the John Cleese episode of TMS. We had watched Monty Python's The Meaning of Life a few days earlier and thought another round...
