*Responding to christyb
I'm pretty sure that we are portraying ourselves and our desired Muppets. So the Muppets are their own identities the way we are ours, if that makes any sense. By all means, share your suggestion...I was wondering the same thing.
*Like christyb, also drinking coffee
So Dee, I hear you're thinking of seeing Million Dollar Baby. That was one of four choices I had for tomorrow, along with The Aviator, Sideways and Closer. I think I've narrowed it down to Sideways and Closer. I want to see as many of the big nominees...
I will definitely check out Fast Food Nation. I'm always up for literature that can turn my stomach (Sinclair's The Jungle, anyone?). As for the documentary, someone on the radio pointed out that the guy did indeed eat fast food for a month but also did no form of exercise during that stretch...
Darn tootin! If mommies-to-be can put classical music up to their pregnant bellies then by golly, they can put recordings of Ernie and Cookie Monster up there, too!
Man, good luck finding lyrics online. I've heard a bunch of samples, but they're all instrumental. The song being discussed here is indeed the song in The Pajama Game, though. I searched Google for lyrics but got nothing. Only reviewed a few sites, though.
Well done, christyb and welcome!

Hey christyb, sorry about your situation. A double present is way cheapo and totally uncool.
As for the Elementary School paper Valentines, those rocked! I had forgotten all about those. I remember picking out the most romantic Disney or Scooby Doo valentines to give to the girls I had a...
Yeah, I had to read Beowulf in not its original Olde English, but a later version that was still gibberish compared to modern English. Good times.
Hey, Dee...about 45. I was talking about the kids at work. They get to hang out in the computer lab every Tuesday and Thursday and they have...
Well, hello Dee! My week went quite well, how went yours? My classes are going good, but I still find it tough to get motivated. I'm still the procrastinator I've always been! Oh well. Have a good time relaxing, I'm supposed to be watching these kids and making sure they don't get in...
That's really good news. I missed the Pizza Hut/Muppets commercial last year because it came on while I was in transit to a buddy's house. I declare that I will not miss it's debut this year!!!
Who's participating in the halftime show? Bette Midler? Kenny G?
Sure you can get Gonzo! bobhopesite suggested Frogboy4 get him but Frogboy4 hasn't been here...so take Gonzo and welcome to Muppet Central, The Movie!
Hey Erine81981, good job on the intro!
Here we go...
The man referred to Phillip and Cindy was a strange little man with dark beady...
Well good luck to you. Sorry my "leads" led you nowhere.
My Suncoast still carries the Tux Pink Panther. Last I saw, they had several of them. I haven't tried collecting that line so I haven't really looked for the figures.
Or perhaps the deadest thing ever. Talk about famous last words, ouch.
Okay, so we have a cool cast of characters and an idea (maybe?). Anyone want to take a shot at an intro. "A long time ago in a forum not so far away...".
I realized last night that I'd left Steve Martin and Tom Hanks off my list.
Steve Martin: (Fave performances)The Jerk, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, All of Me, Lonely Guy, Bowfinger, Father of the Bride 1 & 2, Roxanne, The Three Amigos
Tom Hanks: Forrest Gump, Big, Apollo 13, Turner and...
I agree with MuppetsRule. If you want to feel like a Henson/Muppet insider, Jim Henson-The Works is the book for you. It's got a ton of information and awesome pictures. However, I hear that Muppets and Men is available in many libraries, so you may have better luck finding that one.
