Please don't take any offense at a question I have for you: How long have you been a muppet fan???

The answer is Steve Whitmire. He also does Rizzo the Rat, Wembley fraggle, and others.

No offense taken... and for a long time, I just didn't know who Kermit's new voice was. Since Jim Henson's untimely passing, I never really followed the muppets that close anymore. I prefer old school really, like classic SS, the Muppet Show, The Great Muppet Caper, etc.

That's ok. I was just wondering. Yeah the old orginal performers are the best but *sigh* time goes on. There are some great interviews in the "Articles" section of this website. Read them if you want to learn more about the performers.

if this was a support site you would get a respose similar to this:
RTFMF which isnt too friendly.

But its ok to ask questions, I didnt know who was kermits puppeteer until I got the internet quite a few years ago. I always thought it was Brian Henson when I was younger!

Well I only heard about this this week when someone in a support forum wrote it. I looked it up and it stands for "Read The Fine Manual First" except in most cases the "Fine" part is replaced with another word starting with the same letter that isnt too friendly and cannot be repeated here. and it ends with an ing.

Its used when someone asks a question that can be answered with a minimal amount of reading. :stick_out_tongue:

I've never heard of that...it's kind of funny. There's a guy at work who gets on my nerves, I may use it on him someday.
