see, i figured the movie within the movie of TMM wasn't the real story. because i've heard kermit and piggy say they actually met on the muppet show and the stuff in the movie was just for that the way the two canons exist, their personalities are always real (unless it's an adaptation), but...

yeah, that was sweet. also- because this one blurred the line btw the two canons to an extent, i think that explains why kermit is now saying in all his interviews that he and piggy ARE a couple. it seems the era of outright denial is over

well, i would agree with that in general, but i always look at it in comedic terms- because the whole point of her obsession with him on TMS was supposed to be funny and it always was. but i do think there were moments that grew more continuous later where you see that kermit does love her...
