he should be there, but i sort of doubt it. unless he's privately expressed his approval of the new movie to jason segel or something. otherwise, i would think it'd be kind of awkward with jason speaking and all.
i'm dying to know what he thought of it, or if he actually saw it. because there's...
you know, i actually think she probably does deserve one of her own. she DID become a huge star from the muppet show, her and kermit are basically the faces of the muppets. she's universally known
yeah, i honestly think her getting into trouble and all made her MORE famous than she was before
so to me, when her level of fame comes from scandals, that diminishes any credibility. i don't think she had that much of a screen presence to begin with. most people praised jamie lee curtis's...
i think robert downey jr. was much more talented and had a lot more friends in hollywood than lindsay lohan. people really wanted to see him get it together because he had true potential, and i honestly don't think anybody ever felt that way about lohan. she was 17 years old when she started...
i would also prefer it if they weren't placed into a type of plot that requires them to not know each other
it's better (imo) when they are truly themselves as much as possible, and a group and all
yeah, i wouldn't want it rushed either. i'm sure they haven't even started writing yet. if it were to follow a normal pattern they'd probably have the script by the end of this year and film it next year, for a release in 2014.
i'd like for there to be some kind of special in between though...
if the next movie came out in 2013, that'd be awfully fast, wouldn't it? they'd have to start filming like, this year. my money's on 2014 for the next one. spring, maybe.
yeah, i'm not for another period piece either. i want it in the modern day, with them as themselves
i don't see what's wrong with having a movie about them making a movie or show. that doesn't necessarily have to be a direct sequel (although it could)
that's an interesting point about the...
i'm not crazy about it, because i think it's a little too close to the adaptations of christmas carol/treasure island, with a whole different setting and time period and everything
i also think that we're kind of still in the phase of re-introducing them to a new generation, and that for that...
maybe they could do a movie within a movie thing - where they're making a film IN the movie, but the story really happens backstage and behind the scenes.
which of course adds on to the whole thing being a movie in the first place.
hey, i'd love that! the behind the scenes of TMS thing is an awesome idea, imo.
one, because they get to be their real selves, or as close to it as possible. two, because it's the way for fans to get to see the skits and other stuff we loved from TMS (i have a feeling the show itself won't make...
that's what i'm thinking too. well, a western is an option (i think kermit even mentioned it in one of last year's interviews)
i'd love to see them just be themselves again, but the problem with that is that the only thing they can really come up with for them to do in a movie where they're...
idk, i'd like to see them keep playing themselves for awhile, but i guess i don't know where they could take that after this last one
it'd probably make more sense to do something completely different, like a muppet western.
well, eventually the torch will have to be passed again at some point. hopefully not for a while (like 15 years if we're lucky), but it will still have to happen, right? if the characters are going to live on and on, they have to
and whoever does it then won't have the benefit of having known...
