It's so fun, ya gotta love it! :) There are so many new songs/videos out that are terribly bland, but this classic has personality and energy to it! And of course, referencing Pee Wee's Big Adventure is a plus! I give a good grade to this!
At 1:50. it reminds me of the John Korty animations in...
Hehe, yes - and Big Bird doesn't easily get annoyed, does he? Not often, I'd say. But with those two around, it's going to happen, as the film shows :)
If you mean the 1994 live action film, I like that one. I also like the 1942 live action version of course, but that's a classic anyway. I think the 1994 one deserves more respect.
I agree about her history - sadly the thing people who didn't know about her music still knew about. And sadly, as you say, still didn't get the help needed. I don't know any other details about her passing though, so that's why I said "probably drugs, but we don't know yet" just in case - I...
I didn't know much of her music, but I liked how (for the most part I think) she did a music style from a past era - not today's crud. Good on her for that, and such a terrible shame that drugs (probably...we don't know yet) caused yet another early death :(

Here's an article that mentions the show and it's ending:

I don't know it...
You make a great point about gimmicks, though some of those in the 50's (like the ones that went with William Castle films) sound fun! And I think even the B movies of the 50's had more personality to them than the big budget films we have now. And you bet your life (everyone) that I like all...
Thanks to a TV Guide page from July 20, 1994, I know that it was 17 years ago today that the last episode aired. I watched a few episodes today, though not the last one. Anyone else think that it feels a bit longer ago than that? I do. Anyone think it seems a bit more recent?
Right on DrtTooth, the so-called Smurfs movie TV ads are absolutely dreadful. That is NOT the Smurfs. Even Jonathan Winters wasn't given very good lines it seems. What a garbage can of a film, (and slap in the face to the longtime fans). No one has any respect for anything anymore. They just...
I wanted to buy this album - either on CD or mp3 if I must...but now it seems you can't buy the mp3's here:
