Ran into Heather Henson the other day.
(She's such a perky gal.)
We spoke for a few minutes, just basically saying; "Hi long time no see", "How's the family", that kind of stuff. And she handed me a 4" x 6" pink card advertising the Orlando Puppet Festival.

True. But I admire their marketing skills at what they have accomplished. I bet if they ever decided to have an M&M puppet show, they would market it and promote it beautifully.
As far as I know, I have never heard of Disney selling something they owned once they got their hands on it.
If some company was able to buy the Muppets, I was thinking today of the M&M/Mars Corporation. What a wonderful job they have done at promoting the M&M candies with their wacky CGI...
I do think that the days of computer animated movies being a financial blockbuster is pretty much over since they are becoming a pretty common site in films and TV. (With the exception of some gems like Dreamwork’s continuing series of 'Shrek' films.)
Pixar will always produce quality work...
None of the french puppeteers are Muppeteers, there for (in my opinion) this is not now or ever will be a Muppet show.
Perhaps I can throw escargot at Disney and MHC in protest for continuing to hurt the Muppets.
So far the only one on here who has actually seen the cruise ship show was Joemuseum. Joe if you're out there I have a question. When the show was over, what was the reaction of those who attended?
Were there thunderous applause,
average applause,
mediocre applause
or poor applause
from...

Or the simple act of preparing a videotape might get you called in.:excited:

Great photos! I can tell you who's who... only 4 Muppeteers were on the cruise.
The guy in the red shirt is Muppeteer John Kennedy as Kermit the Frog.
Hmm... that fellow behind him carrying a purple Muppet storage box is the only one I don't know,
perhaps that is 'Bret'? Perhaps...
Thanks for the link Buck-Beaver. Personally I'm very disappointed about this french Muppet show.
NONE of those performers are Muppeteers, therefore (at least to me) it's not a Muppet show.
If I could fling monkey poo at Disney & the MHC I would.
An official Henson comment written by Jim Lewis a few months back makes Gonzo a "Whatever" again. Seems some video archives of Jim Henson stating that "Gonzo will always be a whatever" sunk into the minds of those at the Hensons and the MHC and they decided to stick to Jim Henson's words...
