Marky, I look at Fozzie Bear (Kevin) posting his disclaimer totally different.
Many from this forum participated in those series of auditions and no one knew any info as to the results of them. Kevin came into some info and was kind enough to share it with all of us to put many of our minds...
Yep, I've seen both. Lots of fun! "Feed Me" was very well performed and "Lisa Meets Elton" was funny yet touching. I hope she managed to forward that to Oprah and posted the video link on the Oprah website fan forum.
I found this on the web dated Feb. 1, 2006.
"The topic of the show was “Faces behind big names,” and the guests included clothing designer Marc Jacobs, puppeteer Kevin Clash (who does the voice and movements for “Elmo” on Sesame Street), the family behind Crayola crayons, and the daughter of...
With all due respect to you Mickey_Muppet, you haven't seen this post by Fozzie Bear:

The next round of auditions have been announced for a select handful in March and those going have already been notified by phone. Disney is...
I agree BoyRaisin2. On the surface it seems Iger doesn't care for the Muppets. I would love to see Eisner and some private investors buy the Muppets back from Disney and develop the Muppets on their own.
I have to admit it is surprising that even the 50th year anniversary special has...
Besides TV appearances, it will be interesting to see if Kermit continues the 'live' appearances around the country for Ford, as he did yesterday in Chicago.
snipped this from an article..
Chicago- Feb.6, 2005
(Anne Stevens, chief operating officer for Ford's Americas division.)
"...Stevens spoke to reporters after making a presentation alongside Muppets character Kermit the Frog to promote Ford's 'green' image."
Seems Kermit was at the...
That's pretty cool news! It would be nice to see what they can come up with when they think outside of the established Muppet style of performing.
Also interesting is to see that Yerrid and Massey will be there. I guess this means they have been accepted into the Henson lineup of...
Concerning both commercials...
Reading all the post SuperBowl press releases I have concerning the SuperBowl commercials, four seem to have gotten the most press in the media:
Ford with Kermit
Pizza Hut/Jessica Simpson/Piggy
Budweiser
FedEx- Caveman
MacGyver
Before the SuperBowl, the...
With all due respect to your opinion, Miss Piggy has always been an over-the-top personality with a sexy diva appeal. So I didn't see her being out of her traditional character personality. Yes there was some mix of CGI/puppetry in making her walk and pose more sensual, but at least to me it...
You can see all the commercials at the link below. Piggy and Kermit and all the others.

(This site was running slow last time I checked.)
I saw the commercial and my honest opinion... I cringed at Steve Whitmire singing "It's not Easy being Green'. My ears and soul felt offended. Ugh!
The visuals of the commercial were very nice though and the puppeteering was first class.
But I hope Steve never sings Jim's signature song...
From info found on the web, it appears it was named in 1992 and besides it's medical staff, also housed a full size Kermit and Miss Piggy.
Greenville, Mississippi must be in a bad financial situation to not be able to support and close a pediatric wing named after it's most famous citizen.
