What's really great is at Universal Orlando during Halloween Horror Nights they did a live RHPS Tribute show in 2008 and 2009. Audience participation and all. Ever since then, "Interactive" screenings at the Lowe's Universal Cineplex in Citywalk have been a staple every couple months or so...
Hey, Drtooth. YES you can buy Build A Bear "buildable" products pre-stuffed. They offer a small handful in the stores that are already made/dressed, and when you order them Online they come already made. I DO think you can order them as-is and take them to a store and "build" them for free, but...
Not as bad as the Muppet Rocky Horror I was envisioning. Still pretty strange, but much less so then the gang in fishnets with Tim Curry. Waldorf and Statler as the "Audience" fits a little too well, though.
I was commenting more on Accuracy, but as a cuddly plush you've got a point. Overall he does look fantastic, and so does Piggy. As far as I know, they don't do different regions for UK/US like the Disney Store does, so should be no worries there either.
Also true, DrTooth. According to OP, Kermit and Piggy are set to be released and they are considering doing Fozzie, Gonzo, Scooter, and Walter if they do well.
Fan44, I commented on that earlier. It's the style of Build A Bear. They have a basic template (allows for the stuffing/easy stitch...
Totally agree with you, Leanne. That's what I was saying earlier about the quality. Really great designs on these guys, even better if they actually turn out to be puppets. Can't wait for the announcement.
The difference is that Build A Bear products are ussually REALLY high quality, and you can choose how stuffed you want it to be, more soft, or more stiff. But, essentially the concept is the same, yes. LOL.
That's true. For every 18" franchise character, they ussually do at least 2 secondary characters as 6" plush. For Alvin it was Simon and Theodore, for Frosty it was Karen Prof. Hinkle and Hocus, and for Snoopy it was Woodstock and Charlie Brown. So it is very possible that the rest might be 6"...
My question is WHY is Fozzie not the first one? But it's already been asked. I can see these really taking off, and it would be amazing if the set listed gets produced. Fozzie in particular would look GREAT in Build A Bear's style. It'd also be great if they did a VoiceBox with the Muppet Show...
Aww... Shame, they'd probably have made more money doing it that way, because not everyone can shell out the full $100. I'd say your Avatar is pretty spot on this time, Walter.
That's what i've been saying for several pages, a Bunsen would be a great addition. And everyone is in agreement than there NEEDS to be a Scooter and Rowlf, it's been far too long since a plush of either of them have been made.
Very far out there, but the rest of The Electric Mayhem... pretty...
That's the point, he's a park exclusive. I wouldn't be surprised if the Chef in the UK is the same as the one that pops up in the parks, but with a "THE MUPPETS" tag. Needless to say, the DS mall stores and Online shop are much more accessable. I can't see why they would have him as a part of...
Well, he has been on the UK site for a while (In every Plush group pic) so i'm not surprised. HOPEFULLY he will show up in the US stores/Online shop. I'd love to grab one, and I know i'm not alone on this one.
YES! There's that Swedish Chef plush i've ranted so much about. Hopefully he'll show up on this side of the pond. We've learned from TRON exclusives that unless you've got friends over there, or you are willing to pay eBay prices you're pretty much out of luck on the UK Disney Store merch.
If you like the character, I would definently recommend Walter. He's really well made, as long as you can find one with a good mouth. His suit is very nice quality. If you are a fan, he's worth picking up - espeically if you can get a couple bucks off.
In my opinion, the Star Wars figures are...
The UK Disney Store is a completly different company. (Sorry about this) Back when TRON merch was hitting, the UK got TONS of DS exclusives, and it was asked if the US Disney Stores would eventually get them and the answer was No, because it is a completly different entity owned by the same...
