That's supposed to be a "Boa" style hair. It's just supposed to sit on top of your Whatnot's orange head. How it is meant to stay in place is beyond me... You could always get creative and USE it as a Necklace, the elastic should have enough give to get it on there.
Exactly my point. A small amount of Die Hard Lion King fans would LOVE having the Giraffes for their collection, but it's only a small amount. Most fans would only want Mufasa and Simba.
But Who doesn't like Kermit the Frog? And that's what I was getting at with Chef and Rowlf. Scooter not so...
I know... I had a feeling they did, i've seen pics of Janice in Scrubs so I put 2 and 2 together. They're smaller, too and they'd be impossible to find and very pricey. It really sucks that there's been so little love for Rowlf considering how much exposure he gets. Disney had the perfect chance...
Well... I just discovered that I am no longer a member of The Fortunate Enough To Still Have A Disney Store club... Went down to the mall today, the whole thing was gone. No "Store Closing", no Clearance, just an empty hole where the magic used to be.
Shame. Now if i'm going to do any more...
Yes they did. They are supposedly going to add new items for the DVD release, but it's slowly becoming apparent that they're not planning on doing that either.
NEWS. Disney Store is currently doing Buy One Get One FREE on ALL of their Plush, INCLUDING The Muppets. As a result, all of the Muppet plush (except "giant" Animal) is sold out on the website, so anyone looking to expand their collections on the cheap and are fortunate enough to have a DS near...
Weight would definently be a factor, but you could easlily do gag glasses or something, and small light props like a toy cell phone or something would work as long as you had a good sized piece of velcro.
I did the same. I actually made his hair custom and stuck a bit of velcro in there to help keep it on. That's one of the reasons I went with the TRU, you can stick velcro on anything and they can hold it in their Muppety hands.
Same, I've got my orange (Avatar) Carl, and i'm really pleased just to have one without completly murdering my Wallet. The clothes ARE the killer. The Suit is just about the only one even CLOSE to being worth $20. Real kid's suits are at least that much if not more with a tiny jackets, shirts...
I did the same thing a while back. But I just trimmed the plastic of the bottom of the mouth and took some of the stuffing out of his head. Looks MUCH better. A big part of why his mouth is so weird is how much stuffing they cram into his head.
WOW... I really hope I can find one now. Went to WalMart and they had the SAME Mickey from the set, but none of the others and he was $9.79 too. Maybe they are competing the price?
Finally made it to Kmart and they didn't have Kermit. They did have the valentines, and they had every other plush from the "Disney" sets. Kinda sucks, because that's the only Kmart within any kind of reasonable distance.
I missed out on Walgreen's Kermit, and I checked every one of them. Never...
I've heard that too, but i've also heard "Why hasn't it happened yet" so I don't think they are in the parks.
I would be REALLY hesitant if they started doing it in smaller TRU shops. Alvin, you hit hte nail on the head because picturing local employees trying to put muppets together scares me...
I got my "Kit" WhatNot for about $50 (I had a $10 giftcard/special for spending a certain amount during Christmas sales), and I think he's pretty sweet. That's him in my Avatar, by the way. I havn't seen the FAO versions in person, so I can't really comment on the visual comparison between them...
