Tried searching for you, but I couldn't find it. :sympathy:
I did come across a picture of Time magazine from Nov. 1970, with a cover story on Sesame Street. Since Sesame Street made its debut in 1969, I thought this was pretty neat to find, because it is from the earliest days of the show...
I can't say I'm a big fan of Baby Bear, nor the newer seasons of SS, but when I was watching the show not long ago, I did develop a liking for Baby Bear's pet parrot Ralphie. Does anyone have any character info on him, such as his puppeteer or any other info. He's a cute little fellow!
:flirt:
My quote comes from the song "Frazzle." I always thought Frazzle was a neat looking Muppet because he doesn't have that typical cuddly, cute appearance. Apparently, Frazzle seemed to scare kids, so he wasn't used much on SS. In fact, he was pretty much an anything Muppet, & was not even an...
Although fast food is not exactly a healthy choice of a meal, Mc Donalds does support positive causes which is good. I think it is crucial for parents to encourage healthy eating habits in children, rather than blame the media for a typical junk food craving from a small child. Advertising can...
Thanks a million Zet! I bought the cables to hook to my VCR & I'm going to try recording audio using my MusicMatch software & running a line through the line-in jacks. Wish me luck! I'm really hoping I can transfer the video too, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to. I may need other video...
Glad you are enjoying it! That one is much harder to find that the muppet show version. I'm going to try my luck at transfering my old clips to my computer. If it works, I may be able to send you the video clip of that one too.
;) :sing:
That is just heartbreaking & sad that Linda is not appearing on the show any longer. She brought diversity into the show, as well as taught children (and adults) the importance of acceptance. Does anyone know if she left the show by choice or if she is no longer on SS for other reasons?
I would love to learn how to transfer my video files to my computer, for audio & video versions of all of my old favorites. I have old unpaved episodes with many favorites from the very first season of SS. I'd love to copy the whole set of the jazzy spies series & the falling baker. I have alot...
I was going to attempt to make a techno remix of the Typwriter's trademark "Noo-ne-nooo-ne-noo" I'm not all that great with remixing yet. I need to get that clip in an MP3 format, or get the software to cut an MP3 out of an AVI file. Some of the clips out there are of poor quality, so it's time...
That's what I'd love to accomplish. I have a bunch of old goodies that I would love to share with everyone, but I'm not too good on computer hardware. Odd, figuring I am a graphic artist, but I never realy had to deal with adding on hardware, just software.
:o
If anyone can get me a few versions of those songs to try to fix, I can increase the song volume or try to reduce noise. I have the 1969 SS version of Manah Manah & the sound was far too weak. I changed it into a .WAV file, amplified the sound & converted it back to an MP3.
It sounds beautiful...
I wonder how many different language versions of this song exist. My best friend has a neat german techno version of this song. It's very catchy & the rubber duckie squeaks along to the beat.
I saw that somewhere on TV when I was a kid. Is that song exclusively used on SS, or could it have been used anywhere else? I swear up & down that I have heard it outside of SS. I could be wrong though.
Yeah, that is strange how they didn't make clips foe the number 1. I guess because there isn't a whole lot of fun in showing just one of anything in those cartoons.
Were there any other specific songs directed to count & stop at the number 12? I'm trying to refresh my memory. There was a claymation clip with a bunch of rocks that had to do with the number 12. I'm just trying to see if there were any others, because it seems that some of these things sit on...
