Well you know, not that the later '90s had nothing going for it. I guess my hang up is that Aaron Carter was teen pop, as opposed to more adult pop or rock.
Funny, I just saw the film For Your Consideration today for the first time and in the bonus features there was a cut scene of a ventriloquest telling her dummy she wouldn't crouch down under a desk. The dummy replied, "It was good enough for Jim Henson!" :) ;)
But anyway, I recall in one of...
Yeah I'm not really talking about Aaron Carter '90s, that was later, hehe. I more remember early to mid '90s music, which could be a bit more interesting. (No offence to the Carters ;) )
At the time, I hated '90s music. Mainly because I got teased for liking older music and movies, so I was pretty resentful of anything current and popular. Looking back now though, I do get a pleasant nostalgic feeling from songs like "We Were Merely Freshmen" and "Lovefool."

I don't even know what the heck my phone is, lol, I know that it makes calls and takes pictures and videos and that's all I care about. ;)
The Blackberry looks very cool with all the features, but I'm also kind of afraid to get one. Before we had cellphones, it was understood that there were...

I'm really sorry. School is hard for a lot of people, hang in there. And walking away is a wise thing to do. I wish more kids and their parents (both the bullies and the ones who just stand in the background) would understand the damage they are doing to other human beings and to themselves.
I actually see those kinds of characters as similar to Blue's Clues and Dora. Kids most likely already know the answer (since they do have lives outside of watching TV!), and watching the bumblers just drills it in further and lets a kid feel important (like when they answer in class).
Oddly enough, my first exposure to Dom was when he served as the host of a documentary on Laurel and Hardy. He's also participated in Marx Brothers tributes. Interesting how he seemed to become the go-to guy for celebrating comic legends. I think it's because he had the ability to be funny, yet...
