"People who have a lot of money seldom say no to more." ;)
And I do pray for these people and their families; it's a horrible time for this to happen. The whole recession thing is a continual disgrace on the nation.
I'm more concerned about these people than the condition of the company...
Well I do want to point out, Disney was known for unceremoniously kicking people out even in the 1950s. That's the way powerful companies tend to work.
Yes that is hypocritical, sometimes it is glorified but other times it's just used for humor. Either way the action in real life remains wrong. Phelps is just a kid and kids do stupid things, I don't think his life should be ruined. But he should have known better too. ;)
But I take back some...
Heh, well I just hope Bryant really was innocent. ;) But yes it's a nice clip.
And I'd rather have Pete Rose or the steroids guys than the kind of thing Bryant was accused of (innocent until proven guilty).
Oh I love the Robin Hood episode! Scooter trying to get Floyd to help him move the scenery and then forgetting it's his turn to go on, hehe. I also love the song Lynn Redgrave and Kermit sing. I was singing the chorus the other day and completely forgot where it was from, it's just so beautiful...
Honestly I liked his ending, though I know not everyone did. To each their own. :)
Totally, I mean it would be nice to learn more without being anticlimatic. I would have preferred that direction for a movie.
But again, that doesn't mean I think the one being made won't work at all. :)
1. Favorite Monsterpiece Theater? It has to be The 39 Stairs, written by guy named Al ;)
2. Favorite stop-motion animation insert? Tiny Little Superguy!
3. Chrissy and the Alphabeats or Jerry and the Monotones? Hard choice, but I'll go with Jerry and the Monotones!
4. Any song stuck in...
Honestly, even if it turns out well, which it very well may, I don't believe right now that a movie can do full justice to the series. As Foodie said, it ended well and nothing needs to be added. ;)
Well I mean I understand that works of art need to be protected. But it gets to the point where copyright laws are preventing them from even being seen at all!
I think either because Big Bird was supposed to be a "featured" role, or because Carrol wasn't technically part of the group (he said Jim always tried to get to be a full time Muppeteer but he wasn't interested).
Yeah I agree, you would think so, those puppets (which were the main reason the show was a success at all in the first place) didn't create themselves! ;)
It's probably their normal policy now not to include the names. And it would take a lot of effort to include every single time they happened to appear in an episode, which probably isn't everyday (though it ought to be, heh).
Hehe fer sure, well of course it was a day dedicated to Richard. ;)
I loved that part of the SS event, though it also saddens me that the SW seems to think kids wouldn't appreciate such things. (I don't mean the dirty parts obviously, hehe, just the universally funny parts).
Ok, I could not let this go unmentioned, lol, here's a new drawing from the Tough Pigs site:

It is rather ironic that that's how sweet little Elmo's World got started, lol. Would make a rather interesting Sesame Street flashback...
That's um...ok...WOW...um...when's the jigsaw puzzle coming out? !
If you've ever seen the Beatles Sgt. Pepper album cover or even some of the crowd scenes from their animated film Yellow Submarine...yeah this is kinda of an extremely amped up version of all of that!
I honestly know nothing about myspace, heh.
Yeah that would have been an interesting interaction! It reminds me of a recent Weekly Survey that asked whether Sesame Street or Muppet Show would win in a fight. I actually said Sesame Street because I think the Muppet Show guys would be too busy...
No idea, but it looks like he (or she) had met Richard a couple of times. He mentioned Richard performing at his school and that Richard had given him that Muppet Show patch. And he also seems to have the program from Richard's memorial. ::shrugs::
