    The "You know what?" thread

Yes. She is the Noodle to my broth, and although I know it is hard to look at me. . . . On second thought, that reference doesn't really work well in this context. Never mind. But on the subject of the source of the reference, it's interesting that the producers of Whose Line were actually...

If they really do come out with a Gorillaz TV show, my only hope for the show is . . . that Murdoc will keep his clothes on. :P

Steve Whitmire has left the Muppets, Matt Vogel to continue as Kermit

Nope. They released all four seasons. Of course, they're all Vanilla Editions with no special features (Seasons 3 and 4 sets don't even have custom menus), which is why John Dilworth occasionally does episode commentaries on his YouTube channel.

Steve Whitmire has left the Muppets, Matt Vogel to continue as Kermit

Warner isn't much better. I mean, heck, I'm very surprised that all four seasons of Courage got released on DVD, considering it wasn't one of their biggest smashes, like say, Dexter (which only has one) or Ed, Edd n Eddy (which had two full season sets, and at least a couple of compilation sets).

The "I Did Something Stupid Today" Thread

I guess a lot of it's because when I saw the first one as a kid, I thought it was too cynical and off-puting for my taste (this was before I grew into a jaded cynic myself), but that #2 was more upbeat and cheerful (no holiday pun intended) . . . even though looking back on it as an adult, yeah...

Not really. Nor did I like the third - not even Martin Short could save it.

This is why cartoon characters don't exist in real life...

What's funny is I think WatchMojo, or one of those YouTube channels did a video about poor casting choices, and offered up Rosie O'Donnel as Betty Rubble, because, "Betty Rubble is one of those cartoon characters that men love to fantasize about. Rosie O'Donnel is not." So that seems to confirm...

    The New New Quote Thread

ACE WORRELL: A big monkey, a monkey, mind you, has climbed to the top of the Empire State Building. The one in New York City, New York. I've been there! And . . . he's got a girl. CADET: A girl? You mean like a girl back home? ACE WORRELL: I mean he's got a girl, and it's gone on for far too...

The Kermit Scrunch Face Appreciation Thread

Kermit's ability to scrunch his face is one of the reasons I try my best to give puppets flexible mouths, but the results are never satisfying . . . but then again, it helps that Kermit pretty much has no foam in his head. Still, early AMs were able to scrunch their faces as well - particularly...

The "I Did Something Stupid Today" Thread

So I saw a Facebook friend shared something about three teenagers caught on a security camera covering a sleeping homeless man in something, but the brief little blurb in the shared post cut off where it said what they covered him in. Knowing what a crapsack world we live in today, I assumed...

Ordinary spiders don't, it's just granddaddy long legs. I had a bad experience as a four-year-old that nobody believes me about, but it's the root of my fear of them.

The Muppets 2015: What went wrong?

We're still griping about this? Haven't we moved beyond this yet? This! This was the main problem with the show: for one thing, unless there's some kind of legality that prevents them from doing so, we can't seem to get Disney to bring in actual Muppet writers to write for the Muppets. It's as...
