    The "You know what?" thread

Been sayin' it for years; been sayin' it for years. . . . I said SpongeBob was such a stupid show that it killed brain cells, but did anyone listen to me? Noooo . . . they said I was the stupid one for not liking SpongeBob.

What made you roll your eyes today thread?

Like how Rooney Mara regrets playing a white-washed Tiger Lily in that PAN movie. I mean . . . the filmmakers' logic was astounding: they couldn't bring in an actual Native American to play Tiger Lily because then they would get accused of racial stereotypes against Native Americans, so they...

This thread's two months ago, got no attention then, now it's suddenly exploded, lol.

    Questions about anything

Well, again: who's one of the founders of DW? Jeffrey Katzenberg. Who's the one who tried to make TOY STORY into an edgy, adult movie with sadistic, ***#0l3 characters? Jeffrey Katzenberg. :shifty: EDIT: Really? We have to censor symbols now?

The New Am I The Only One Thread

Why is it it seems like making up the whole bed after washing sheets seems like such a daunting task, but as I actually get to doing it, it's hardly daunting at all?

The New Am I The Only One Thread

As I recall, they used some kind of a little tiny nozzle that was hooked up to a hose or wire of some sort connected to a big machine, and basically, the nozzle was placed onto the wart, and pretty much felt like they were electrocuting my finger. Then for several days afterward, the wart looked...

    Questions about anything

Like I said, IMO, 3 was okay if you're looking for a few quick, cheap laugsh; 4 is weak in that the magic and spark had already fizzled out, but strong in that it was good they ended when they did (at the time, that is).

    Questions about anything

I haven't thought about it, but I'm really curious about something: did Charming really die in SHREK THE THIRD? Sources online say he did when Dragon knocked over the tower facade on top of him, but I swear if you watch the scene in slow motion on DVD or something, it looks like he goes through...

The New Am I The Only One Thread

I honestly can't remember if I've ever touched either one at one point when I was a kid . . . and you know what? I probably never have. Because as a kid, there was that stigma that touching a frog or a toad would give you warts, so that would have freaked me out. I've had a wart removed from my...

The 'What Song Are You Currently Listening To?' Thread

Isn't there something just so relaxing about a soothing and upbeat song set to fighter planes, sinking ocean liners, and jellyfish being massacred in the propellers of a submarine?

    Dreams about Muppets...

Sounds like you've been watching too many Inspector cartoons with Deux-Deux always saying "si" instead of "oui."

I do, actually, have an account on Walmart.com, I just don't use it much.

The “What did you do today?” thread

Okay, so apparently it's still the Warner MOD DVD, but they're selling it through Walmart. K.

The “What did you do today?” thread

Walmart? I thought it was a strictly Warner MOD DVD? Anyway, I've been helping my mom with her very first video project, hence my earlier frustrations upon learning that the current version of Adobe Premiere doesn't support Dolby Audio Coder on any version of Windows other than 10.

    The Facepalm and/or Headdesk Thread

So . . . :sigh: another new problem with Adobe Premiere. . . I was wondering why certain video files weren't being imported with their audio, and then come to find out the problem is the current versions of Adobe Premiere have been recoded to where Dolby audio is only compatible with Windows...

The New Am I The Only One Thread

So, am I the only one who, despite not being a morning person (at all), thinks sunrises actually look prettier than sunsets? I don't know how to describe it in words, but, there's some kind of a soothing, pleasant glow about sunrises compared to the more harsh and glaring look of a sunset.
