The... -wait fer it-... "What made you laugh today?" Thread

One of the BTF episodes on YouTube. One question one week was if anyone of them remembered the very first time they performed on the show, and Peter said as you look through the hole in the wall, he did the two bugs dancing together.

A more useful comment: Peter Linz said this was the first thing he did on SS.

Maybe it's just me, but I think it should be called "hickster," because it almost looks like hicks who are trying to look cool.

You Ever Notice...and What's the Deal...

@LittleJerry92's comments of yesterday got me to thinking and it's just now occured to me that it seems as though Jeanette-type girls are actually kind of taking over the world! O.O Or, more specifically, it seems like girls with brown hair (in varying shades, mind you) and ridiculously huge...

Exactly. There really was no need to rehash it all over again.

    R.I.P. David Ogden Stiers

On a similar not, one episode that really irks me is B.J. falling in love with the lady war co-respondant. Mike Farrell wrote and directed that episode, and it's just a trainwreck that screams forced and contrived. I know Mike wanted to show that even faithful B.J. wasn't above temptation, and...

    R.I.P. David Ogden Stiers

One thing I will say is the transition between Frank and Charles was handled much, much better than Trapper and B.J. Though, to be fair, Wayne Rogers didn't officially leave the show until their mid-season hiatus, so I can see how they had to haphazardly write Trapper out of the show by having...

    R.I.P. David Ogden Stiers

Oh I know! Why, the other commentators seemed to think I was an uncultured and repressed jerk@s$. They could be right. I could have been so desensitized by the wacky and outlandish humor of comedy of yesteryears to realize just how cultured, sophisticated, and refined gratuitous sex really is!

    R.I.P. David Ogden Stiers

I've only recently started following Ken Levine's blog again. I dropped out of it for a while because too many people were angered by my occasional comments against the current state of comedy unnecessarily relying so heavily on sexual content and lowbrow humor.

    The "You know what?" thread

Either that or I could upgrade my OS to Windows 10 . . . because Adobe's only other alternative is to purchase a third-party audio support program for $600. Either way . . . I really should have just stuck with the version of Premiere I was using (2015). I mean, I do like the slightly updated...

    The "You know what?" thread

I'm just looking forward to having to mix audio separately again since that new license with Dolby means Dolby Digital audio is no longer supported in Adobe Premiere on older operating systems. And by looking forward to it, I mean I'm dreading it like a sickness . . . I mean, that was one of...

    The "You know what?" thread

Never tried Avid. The only other thing I've tried was Sony Vegas to familiar myself for a potential job offer, and admittedly, I found it to be an uglier, less user-friendly version of Adobe Premiere.

Segments that were possibly taped on the same day

Not necessarily. The human cast members seemed to go through a period in the 80s where they often wore the same outfits all the time.

    The "You know what?" thread

For all the problems that @LittleJerry92 and I face with Adobe Premiere from time to time, one thing I will praise about more recent versions of the program are Adjustment Layers: great way to apply effects to your entire timeline without having to do it for each and every individual clip.
