Bear arrives on Disney+ The beloved series has been off the air for the past 15 years. Now all four seasons are finally available for a whole new generation.
Much like Abby in the beginning, Julia had a debut episode that was made into a big deal, then has made occasional glorified cameos here and there since . . . though, I think there was an episode from last season where she played a larger role in the story - something to do with finding shapes...
Well, they've explained it before: they really wanted a female Muppet on the show who could match Elmo's star power, but was sort of an "any-girl" character for little girls watching could really relate to; Prairie's too prissy and uptight, and Zoe's too quirky and eccentric.
I grew up with the shapes as well, so I don't remember a time where the round pieces pre-dated the shapes.
I wonder if "Classic Trix" would taste good, though? Because, again, Trix has had a really rancid aftertaste in recent years.
I confess I'm a little surprised to see Telly get a stamp, given how he's increasingly grown into an obscure character in recent years . . . and if he can get a stamp, why not Baby Bear?
Needless to say, I know what stamps I'll be using on Christmas cards this year!
Interesting to see Herry get a stamp of his own; I guess this officially solidifies his comeback.
I had the opportunity to meet both of them on separate occasions within the last year and a half. Yes, it would certainly be worth the drive, you don't want to miss an opportunity like this!
I'm crossing my fingers they'll return to the Knoxville Fanboy Expo again this year for the Sesame 50th...
Frank pushed for his treatment of THE CHEAPEST MUPPET MOVIE EVER MADE, but as I understand it, Jason Segel pushed his screenplay harder, and that's who Disney decided to go with.
And it's not so much that Jim didn't see eye-to-eye with Disney, it's mainly that Jim had mostly done business in...
I used to be really happy about seeing the younger generations discovering and appreciating TV shows and such from yesteryears, and seeing for themselves what good television used to be like way back in the day - with many of them even agreeing that TV shows today could and should be a lot more...
To be fair, he's been saying a lot of these things for years, particularly in regards to SS and the Muppets.
But what he had to say about DC was interesting, because other people within the Henson organization - both past and present - continue to make a big deal, to this day, about how the...
It's not just Klasky Csupo, they like doing that with all sorts of logos.
It's kind of like those videos "Such-and-such movie, but everytime so-and-so does this-or-that it gets faster" or "Such-and-such movie, but without the such-and-such." I don't get it either.
Dilly's begun working on yet another new animated short, which is going to be another horror romcom, following his familiar theme of a main trio consisting of a male, a female, and a dog:
Looks intriguing, and I always love seeing updated WIP videos of whatever he's working on, yet we still...
It's been a really, really long time since I actually watched the Pokemon anime, but even so, way back when, there was something that always confused me, and I'm sure there's some crucial details I may have missed that might clear things up, so somebody help me understand something. . . .
I...
When will I ever learn that Google will never do anything to look into and/or fix any problems/errors/bugs/glitches/whatever you report to their support team? "Oh, we don't know what's causing the problem, so there's nothing we can do." "Oh, we don't have the time to look into this, you're on...
I mean, for an organization that seems to appreciate its fan and fan-generated content, you would think they'd be a little more understand of Fair Use than a larger copyright bully like, say, Viacom, Disney, or Universal.
Have new episodes been starting late for anybody else lately, or just me? Whenever I tune in at the top of the hour, the end titles of whatever previous movie are still running, and there's a small handful of promos before the show starts, usually a minute or two after its scheduled air time.
