I agree, while I think both Rizzo and Pepe are funny, I like Rizzo a lot more. I guess 'cause I grew up on Muppet Christmas Carol, but Rizzo is better to me than Pepe.
Johnny looks cool, the Muppaphones look cool, Robin looks great. But what's the deal with Gonzo and Bernice? Will he be an exclusive or something?
Don't know if this was already posted, but in the PBS episode of the Simpsons, there's cameos by Big Bird, Elmo, and Oscar the Grouch. At one point when Homer's running away from the PBS people, he runs down an alley and Big Bird swoops down like an vulture or an eagle. Then when Homer goes into...
I can honestly say I cannot pick a favorite! They're all equally awesome, IMO. Jim is the guy who created it all and brought some of my favorites to life: Kermit, Rowlf, Waldorf, Dr. Teeth. Richard is great too, and I absolutely LOVE Scooter's singing voice! And Frank is cool w/ his multiple...
Ok, this may seem a little off topic (sorta), but why the heck does everyone think that this will be a bad movie? Have the Muppets ever done ANYTHING badly?! Well, there was Kermit's Swamp Years, but I belive the only thing that movie lacked was good humans and more classic Muppets. Other than...
I want any of the Muppet specials I haven't seen on DVD. Muppets at Walt Diesney World is one of 'em! The John Denver and Muppets Christmas I've never seen either!
Lips is one of my favorites. If only for the instruement he plays :sing: I too am a trumpet player :D While we're on the subject of Lips, I was wondering when he speaks. Ever? I know he said "And me!" at the end credits of GMC and he sang "We Need a Little Christmas" and "Jingle Bell Rock" in...
No he didn't! :p his finger was facing the wrong way for him to be giving the finger.
Oh! One of the things I liked in the Moulin Scrooge scene was when the Elvis guys came out singing "Jingle Bells" Being someone who grew up with Muppet Classic Theater, I greatly appreciated seeing...
-The Muppets Celebrate Jim Henson. I've got it on tape, but tapes are crappy and I'm missing a little bit of the beginning (but I'm not sure how much, since it starts out w/ Fozzie getting hit with one of Lew Zealands fish).
-Muppets Tonight! (Never saw any of it)
-Anything else w/...
-The Club Dot scene in VMC
-The part w/ the "O' Mayhem" in VMC
-The part w/ Howard the pig ("love that tushie!")
-The Hapiness Hotel song has so many funny verses in it ("Okay the lobby's looking shabby and it's got the wrong address" "And the whole dang thing has been condemned by American...
uh, no I don't think so
Hmm, never thought about it. Well, technically they weren't ALL together, like, where was Pepe? And Sal? and Rowlf? and a lot of others too. Actually, when you think about it, there was a WHOLE lot of stuff they could've done. The Doc Hopper's reference was cool...
Here's my thoughts on the replacement characters' performers:
Miss Piggy: Excellent! Eric did an excellent job sounding just like the original Miss Piggy.
Fozzie: Great, but not as good as Piggy IMO.
Scooter: Pretty good, the voice seems to fit his character, even if it doesn't sound a...
:D :D :) I'm a HUGE Lord of the Rings fan! When I was younger I was into the books, the animated movies, and the BBC audio tapes. In fact, to this day I still listen to the audio tapes before I go to sleep. I know a lot about LotR, so if anyone has any questions, feel free to ask! :halo: Oh...
Great review! as usual :halo: From your review, I noticed that the Vacation Pepe has a better head sculpt than the original one (I just don't like those eyes very much on the first one!) Oh, btw, I'm sorry to hear about what happened to your computer! :sympathy:
