Hey guys! Guess who just got the magazine today! ME! :D It's so freakin' awesome! And wow, some of those trivia questions were pretty tricky :) and it warmed my heart when I read (something like) "And even if you don't like the Muppets (in which case you have no soul)..." I liked that :)
:boo: I hate that there are copyrights to so many things. I mean, I can understand why they're needed, but I just want the un-edited version of Muppet Family Christmas on DVD :sympathy:
I'd say yes, except, for some reason, I can almost see Disney kind of "ruining" the Muppets. Maybe "ruining" isn't the best word, but Disney hasn't really put out anything *great* lately. But then again, the Muppets would certainly help Disney and Vice Versa...
Rowlf was also in Muppet Christmas Carol, playing piano at Fozziwig and Ma's. But even though the characters didn't speak much, at least they were there! Like in Muppet Treasure Island, that scene where Zoot, Floyd, and Animal speak (right before "Professional Pirate" song) look at Dr. Teeth, he...
I noticed that too. A LOT of characters have just a bit. I too think they were at their best during the 80's and they looked great in Great Muppet Caper (except the Electric Mayhem, I liked how they looked in The Muppet Movie, and Statler and Waldorf didn't look that great, IMO)
Definitley getting: The backstage playset w/ Rowlf, Lips, Gonzo and Rizzo from MTI, regular Sam the Eagle, Usher Scooter, Kermit as Captain Smollet.
Probably getting: Dr. Van Neuter, Marvin Suggs, Pops, Johnny, Robin, black tux Gonzo.
Maybe getting: Fozzie, Beauregard, the Johnny repaints...
I gotta update my list of favorites. Ok, I forgot to put Rizzo on the above list. And I gotta add Bobo the bear. After watching Muppets From Space I realized how funny that guy was. And I also gotta add Johnny Fiama and Sal, they're pretty good too! :D
Hey, I've got a fun idea, post all of your different Nightmare Before Christmas stuff. Here's mine, all recreated from memory (I got a lot! of stuff for Christmas :D )
-Figure of the Behemoth
-Bobblehead of the Mayor
-Stickers of Jack's face
-Comforter
-Sheets w/ Jack's face on 'em...
Well that's odd, today I went to my local A&P (that's the only place I know of that would have it) and they Toyfare #78! ***?! Not that that's really a bad thing though. I got #78 b/c it had a 16-page thing on the Lord of the Rings figures. I also collect those and I found out I'm...
