I'm not so sure about a French accent . . . to me, it just sounds like Telly is speaking in more of a primitive, monster-type manner similar to Cookie or even early Elmo.
No, I liked it, it certainly doesn't deserves the amount of hate that it gets (along with KERMIT'S SWAMP YEARS).
Everybody else on the forum hates it, mostly because the final movie that we got was not the same movie that was originally drafted and penned (that and to confirm that Gonzo is...

OMG, I just received an email from SW today, they may use my submission in that Sunny Day sing-along video project they've been talking about these past few months!

Got my license renewed.
Ran other important errands.

I will say that I've picked up on a formula that most episodes seem to follow: Tim or Jill screw something up that upsets the other, but they fail to see where they were in the wrong themselves for screwing up in the first place; they confide in Wilson about their situation, while Wilson shares...
Morbid curiosity resulted in my actually checking out the various different volumes on YouTube, and . . . was there some special reason why Piggle went from having a Kermit rip-off voice, to having a poorly repitched chipmunk voice after the first volume?
