Your Thoughts: New Muppet Central Forum Features

Members like them have no avatars, and using the first letter in their username appears to replace what the previous forum feature did of just featuring gender symbols in lieu of them actually having an avatar. YouTube has been doing the same thing for a number of years now.

    Questions about anything

Okay, that makes sense, considering the context I've been hearing it used in, such as Cinematic Venom or Mr. Enter talking about people harassing them (Mr. Enter even has an obsessed cyberstalker right now) . . . but then I notice a lot of politically-charged memes using it in a context that...

    Anyone remember Animal Jam?

The zebra's name was Edi, performed by Leslie Carrara-Rudolph (hence sounding like Abby Cadabby); meanwhile, Waffle was performed by Rickey Boyd, who actually hails from my state of Tennessee, so that's quite an authentic southern accent Waffle has. Bozark always bothered me, though: the...

You Ever Notice...and What's the Deal...

It seems to me that the Brits aren't very good at coming up with baby names, because from my observation, a lot of them have the same names. For instance, a lot of British men are named Simon or Colin, while a lot of British women are named Emma or Emily. Though, to be fair, this could be the...

    Questions about anything

Just because I don't keep up with internet slang, can somebody please explain to me what it means to "dox" somebody, or "put them on blast"?

The Nostalgia Critic Thread Lives Again!

Apparently Lindsay Ellis (formerly known as Nostalgia Chick) recently had her own PBS special. Not sure what though, but that kind of took me by surprise.

Sesame Street Season 49 Episode 4928 - How to Build a Dinosaur

If we could have gotten an older EW episode, I feel like we could have gotten the Jurassic Cookie Crumby Pictures in this as well.

Your Thoughts: New Muppet Central Forum Features

This is going to take a lot of getting used to - despite going through some minor overhauls over the years, as well as two different servers, MC's overall layout was very consistent ever since I've been a member all the way back in 2003. This is the first major redesign for the forum that I've...

    Questions about anything

Okay, so out of all of those hilarious SS skits that MADtv did, why is the childhood obesity one always so hard to find? It's almost as if FOX doesn't even want anyone to see it.

What made you roll your eyes today thread?

Today I've learned that the Chipmunks fandom has something in common with the SS fandom: it contains spoiled, entitled, and immature brats who will throw temper tantrums if their demands are not met.

Sesame U.S. Postage Stamps Coming in 2019

I don't know, but what I do know is these will be going on my Christmas cards this year!

So, this was a thing, apparently...

They apparently went over really, really well though. I think I read somewhere that they've ordered an additional six episodes of this.

The Nostalgia Critic Thread Lives Again!

He's under a lot of fire right now for his complicity in all of the horrible things that went on within the company, and for basically mocking the victims for wanting an apology. Apparently, he's gotten so much backlash and so many threats against him and his family (including his grandmother)...

    For when you're feeling down...

You really get a sense of just what a big kid at heart Charles Martinet is. I also love how Luigi keeps mistaking every animal they see for a cow.

    Cookie3001's world of puppetry

    Heh, funny little short.

Arthur - Where is the Show Going?

Did I not say this would happen? Seriously, did I not call this? "The Gay Mafia" who wrote that, Pat Robertson? Because that's what he often calls the LGBT community. All of that being said, this article is surprisingly pretty neutral, considering this is a Christian publication.

"Sesame Street's 50th Anniversary Celebration" special to air November 9 on HBO and November 17 on PBS

That would be Horatio. Or, at the very least, that's who the elephant was whenever Joey played him. Otherwise, he was a generic elephant Muppet they used from time to time. Sometimes Marty would play him, making him kind of a posh, pompous character.

Arthur - Where is the Show Going?

"Mr. Ratburn and His Roommate Who Isn't Allowed to Come to Thanksgiving Until After Grandma Dies." Wow, lol.

    Classic Sesame Clips on YouTube

I thought it was confirmed that the grouchy waiter named Oscar was just a coincidence?

"Sesame Street's 50th Anniversary Celebration" special to air November 9 on HBO and November 17 on PBS

I guess. It makes sense: Murray was essentially created to give Joey his own, signature character on the street.
