I'm right there with you. Especially Erin's frustration at being ridiculed, which wasn't something that ever really bothered the guys.
I also liked the ways the Internet and YouTube was incorporated into the plot. Felt very spot on, which strangely isn't always the case in Hollywood movies.
I...
And I disagree with everything in that review, lol. Well, not quite, I liked the parts about Winston "who's there sometimes" and Dana being "more naked." Lol. Don't get me wrong, I'm not angry, I get that Honest Trailer's thing is to rip apart movies. I'm just saying: It has never bothered me...
Yeah I hear a lot of people say, "If only it had been a passing of the torch story, everyone would have loved it." Yeah, sure, lol. If by love it you mean nitpick it to death, I agree.
I can see that. I agree, the cartoon grew a richer universe than GB2 did.
Lol, I guess it's purely a "Go...
I will watch Ghostbusters 2 any day over Men in Black 2 or 3, lol. For me, Men in Black 3 wasn't that much of an improvement.
Well Ramis did say he thought the Ghostbusters worked best as underdogs, and I can agree with that. Even if GB2 had started with them on top of the world, they'd have...
It's has become quite the spectacle to say the least, hehe. If the complaints are about women, well, those detractors can't be helped. And if it's about the movie being a reboot instead of a sequel, those detractors really ought to move on at this point!
Btw, the whole "reboot, not a sequel"...
Well maybe I expected too much from them, but I guess I just quickly saw through their "You can talk to us/Things will get better/We're always here" spiel. Maybe I got too snarky with them, but that's all they had to say, and even they seemed to know my situation was nothing they could handle.
Yup, a lot of hyped up blockbusters ended up not doing so well this summer. Meanwhile GB16 proved a lot of the doubters wrong; it was nowhere near the train wreck they assumed it would be.
According to Box Office Mojo:
I'm not thrilled that Star Trek Beyond is currently tracking well. All...
Yes, the theater experience for this film just felt like a wave of positive energy (speaking of Ghostbusters 2. ;)).
Yeah it's just something I guess we have to learn to live with. Hollywood wants to make sure it plays to younger audiences.
Awesome! Hmm, I was at Wegman's recently, I may...
Thanks for sharing! That guy's funny and yeah, it was just an honest, normal review. Bottom line, a movie, even if it's a beloved movie like Ghostbusters (1984), shouldn't become more important than people. And that's where a lot of fans went wrong in this instance.
I've defended this movie a lot, but even I was worried based on the trailers. I was really surprised to see how well everything worked once seen all together.
Yeah they need to read more fanfiction if they think Rey was this unbearable Mary Sue.
WARNING: SLIGHT SPOILER
WARNING: SLIGHT SPOILER
Most of the cameos are short. They're not crucial to the plot, but they have a lot of charm. The audience applauded for all of them. There's...
This was 100% a case of that. Throughout the entire movie I kept thinking, "Why didn't they just put that scene in the trailer?!" Seeing it all in context worked a lot better.
OK, I'm back. I can say with complete confidence that that trailer sucked.
Because the movie was great!!! The audience was having a blast, it's funny, it's surprisingly scary at the right moments, the ladies are amazing, so are the cameos. Forget the trailer ever existed, you won't be...
