I'd advise you not to get a quarter pounder. I mean, if you didn't care for a McDouble, you're definitely not going to like the quarter pounder . . . you're just going to get that same generic flavor, only in a much bigger dose.

Barehanded puppetry has a minimalistic charm for sure, but I can see why it would come across as a might unsettling for some. I, at least always appreciated how the puppeteers would try different ways of using their hands so that they all didn't look so streamline with other like - whether it...

The new What Made You Smile Today thread

I remember mentioning OOBI to Noel MacNeal when I met him a couple of years ago, and even he admitted that he thought it was, "a weird show."

Well certainly OOBI, heck, I remember in the earlier days of Noggin when it originated as little series of short inserts before it was expanded into a full-fledge half-hour series . . . they could definitely count as Early Installment Weirdness, because Kako didn't have his little red beanie...

One completely random day of long-sleeved weather in the middle of May. This is only the third time i can remember something like this ever happening (in my life, that is).

At least Bob didn't stab Big Bird in the heart.

I actually tried Wensleydale today . . . y'know, the cheese that Wallace is so fond of? I have to say, it is actually one of the weirdest cheeses I have ever tried . . . the taste and texture of it is almost like eating a rather firm, dry, and crumbly cheesecake - it's actually a rather sweet...

I mostly like Texas Toast if it's used as like maybe garlic toast for a pasta, but otherwise, I agree, it's not much for sandwiches.

THANK YOU!! This was something my classmates and I were discussing way back in the day . . . how is it Franklin is the only character with a proper name, but none of the other characters were? What sense did that make? And another thing that always bothered me . . . why did Bear suddenly start...

    Dealbreaker TV Characters

For certain. Ellie was very much ahead of her time in that respect, but I agree, she definitely had a thin skin a lot of the times, and as I said, she clearly would blow Andy's innocent teasing way out of proportion, and it was something they could've tackled in just one episode. (And let's not...

    Dealbreaker TV Characters

In rewatching reruns of LAW & ORDER: SVU, there's two characters that are somewhat dealbreakers for me, and I'm glad they were barely even used for just one season. . . . First, we have Dani Beck, the lady detective who served as Stabler's temporary replacement partner while Olivia was off on...

    Dealbreaker TV Characters

As far as THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW is concerned, if there's one character who really always bothered me, it was Ellie from Season 1, because most episodes with her basically followed the same formula: Andy gets to teasing her about something, she's insulted by his seemingly narrow-minded and...

    The "You know what?" thread

I've been noticing for a couple of weeks now that Facebook evidently has this new thing where they send you individual friend suggestions in the form of notifications - sometimes they're based on mutual friends you have, while some are just absolutely completely random.

Baked mac n cheese (or baked pasta in general) is absolutely gross.

    Hanna-Barbera

Well, to be fair, Hanna-Barbera did design the characters, the Kroffts just had to adapt the designs into fully-functioning suits, since, obviously an animation character designer wouldn't necessarily understand how that works.

New Sesame Street documentary based on "Street Gang" to premiere in April 2021

My mom got food poisoning from Romaine lettuce once (and somehow doesn't remember such, even though it happened not too many years ago) . . . no wonder all of that stuff is always being recalled.

Mozzarella can be good stuff, but it depends . . . if you're able to get whole milk mozzarella, then yeah, that stuff's amazing! Low fat or skim milk mozzarella on the other hand is really bland and tasteless.
