Steve Whitmire has left the Muppets, Matt Vogel to continue as Kermit

Lips - a whole season and movie with the Electric Mayhem Clifford - one TV special Yup. That makes sense to me.

Emmet Otter's Jugband Christmas 40th Anniversary DVD Release

Just be wary, it was confirmed at the TP forum that this is going to be cropped into widescreen, ala the ABC Family airing. So, mixed blessing.

Sesame Street Season 47 Episode 4732 - Rudy Lets Loose

Two easy answers: 1. Abby is a main character, Zoe isn't anymore. 2. Rudy's presence is to help teach about blended families. A monster and another monster becoming step-siblings doesn't convey that as well as a monster and a fairy become step-siblings.

    HEH! Work It's been Canceled!

That seems like a blanket and ignorant idea. "There's nothing to watch," ****, there's too much to watch now. And you know what? Just because there are a few poor ideas every once and while doesn't take away from the fact that there are several, high-quality shows out there, hour-long dramas and...

Sesame Street Season 47 Episode 4732 - Rudy Lets Loose

The story was fine; Rudy's song ended on the bridge though, what's up with that? I feel like there should've been more of him being shown he's afraid of the others, but whatever. I guess they didn't want to repeat too much from their last "dog" themed episode, so they just crammed a whole mess...

    Billy Barkhurst

But we don't know to what capacity. I have been told that they've tried writing him, and other classic characters, into scripts, but they eventually just get cut out through the process.

New Matt Groaning Show Announced For Netflix!

"Dumped?" Netflix has approximately 100 Million subscribers, and that probably doesn't count people who share passwords with others. Regardless of whether or not everybody has Netflix, it's a viable outlet for content. Not every body has TV or even cable TV for that matter. Would you be humming...

    Billy Barkhurst

To be fair, he was really just a voice-over artist.

Steve Whitmire has left the Muppets, Matt Vogel to continue as Kermit

Why should they? They may not have a positive opinion either and then y'all gonna turn on them too.

They stop "making" them, they just haven't posted them all.

Video: Sesame Street cast panel at the Sillicon Valley Comic Con

I'm referring to an event a couple of years ago that had the Sesame human cast. That place was super packed.

Be prepared for a big crowd. The MOMI event was probably the most crowded thing I've been to there.

Steve Whitmire has left the Muppets, Matt Vogel to continue as Kermit

See, but there's a difference between "understudy" and "guy who does Kermit for theme parks and cruise ships." The true magic of the character is diminished if you have 20 some odd people performing him around the country. And I really doubt that's how the Looney Tune voices are arranged. Joe...

Steve Whitmire has left the Muppets, Matt Vogel to continue as Kermit

That's exactly what Steve, and others, were against back when Disney tried pulling that.

Sesame Street Season 47 Episode 4731 - Hello Rudy

The news of that broke in July 2016. The season wrapped production in April. So, you do the math.

Sesame Street Season 47 Episode 4731 - Hello Rudy

Rudy will be in every street plot this month, so yeah, he's got an arc.

Steve Whitmire has left the Muppets, Matt Vogel to continue as Kermit

*clapping emoji* I can kind of sympathize with him sometimes. He was a performer on Sesame Street for awhile and had very few speaking parts, while newcomers like Joey were thrown into the regular rotation almost immediately. But, then again, he also got let go for unknown reasons, so he's...

Steve Whitmire has left the Muppets, Matt Vogel to continue as Kermit

As I said earlier, just because X characters by X performer are now done by X performer, doesn't mean it should apply to all characters and performers.
