Jim Henson Idea Man

Bear arrives on Disney+ The beloved series has been off the air for the past 15 years. Now all four seasons are finally available for a whole new generation.
Baby Bear was pretty much defined at first by his relationship to his fairy tale and Goldilocks bother him. The more they took him out of that context, the better and funnier he became.
I can get why they demoted him to semi-regular; if the characters they're pushing now are the most...
I don't remember the particular one, but the interview was with Max Stein and her Richard Hunt book / zine.
It's not really that funny, so much as it his sexist and ignorant.
I kind of interpreted that a little as "Kevin is a black man, therefore is into hip-hop" when I heard it.
I should give Steve more credit that that, though. Even if he once asked if a female author is called an "authoress."
I listen to that episode just to hear some opinions on the special, and it reminded me completely of why I don't enjoy those guys. Jarrod is obviously doing a bit being unpleasant, but the other two, ugh.
Huh, never thought of that.
I binged both seasons Thanksgiving weekend when the Sesame spoof came out, just so I could understand the references. I'd never watch a show like that ordinarily (I don't like horror stuff), but I ended up really enjoying it. Took forever for all the pieces to fit...
I thought the story was fine enough and at least had some humor in it ("I won't take NOO for an answer"). Plot hole: if the cows couldn't say "moo" because the Ms were gone, wouldn't everyone be unable to make the M sound?
Whatever. Rather disjointed use of segments. Setting up everything...
Ask permission? Yeesh. YouTube and the internet age have practically nullified the tape trading circuit, people put up old tapes online or torrents without asking for anything in return, yet people are still being protective of the stuff they recorded (and don't personally own the rights to)...
And it's not as if they make these changes willy-nilly. SS is the most heavily researched show in the history of television. If studies show some aspects aren't working, they do what they can to fix it.
With the way the show airs and can be watched, it makes sense to let the new status quos speak for themselves. Kids today can see any episode in any order they want, so having episodes to reflect change isn't necessary because the child may not even watch that first.
And sure, ATC got a whole...
It was not directly her decision, and they gave a pretty good, legitimate reason to move Oscar to a centralized location.
But, he's not moving back. They're not bringing back those construction doors; what, is that the new "funky chimes?" The older humans are probably not coming back on the...
The Wiki has all the info on what's there.
Most of what was cut was anything with Joe Raposo music (for some reason), maybe certain celebrity stuff and segments from certain artists / animators (not sure what that's about, maybe they're contract for use expired).
It's too early to tell, for me.
In terms of exposure, I'd say Cookie Monster is practically the new Elmo (weird sentence, I know). Elmo used to be all over the place, but now, Cookie Monster is pretty much the face of a lot of the show's promotion.
I thought the street story was fine enough; nice to see the Martians do something prominent. Hopefully, they'll be back some more.
Something about the direction or editing of the stories has been really sloppy. The camera moves and shots aren't as good as they have been. And the sound effects...
