Jim Henson Idea Man
Remember the life. Honor the legacy. Inspire your soul. The new Jim Henson documentary "Idea Man" is now streaming exclusively on Disney+.
Bear arrives on Disney+ The beloved series has been off the air for the past 15 years. Now all four seasons are finally available for a whole new generation.
Industry standard is Avid, which I've never liked. But every place has their own preference.
As for SD to HD, it depends on the original video source. Really, unless it's film, which has no real set aspect ratio, all video sources are limited to their respective aspect ratio and size. By taking...
It's kinda weird that this was already made into a repeat two seasons ago, but whatever I guess. Elmo and Rocco stuff is always good. They should do more of that.
Nothing else to really comment on. New EW, new letter film, "new" number song, all the rest repeats. Nice to see Murray I guess...
It's clearly a part of a street plot. It makes slight sense with no context around it, but there's definitely stuff surrounding it that we didn't see. Why would all the adults be in his trash can? Why is Oscar taking them for a night out?
A fine street plot. Rudy's feeling more of an everykid than Elmo. Nice to see all the international girls and hey! Herry Monster! Speaking words!
Not sure I buy the whole "trying new foods is kind" Kindness Cam thing.
The "Sesame Chef" thing was cute and funny; felt a little choppy though. But...
Contradictory much?
Anywho, hot take here: I don't see how anyone could like, say, MTM and dislike this series. They are extremely similar in tone and their reality-based approach to the Muppets as characters and how they, as a frog, bear, pig, etc. function in the real world.
I think the main...
I feel like this isn't specifically tied to SpongeBob; it could be attributed to any cartoon. SpongeBob just happened to be what they used.
I disagree. (Pre-Movie) SpongeBob is some of the best animated comedy out there, if not just regular comedy. The AV Club has a great article about it that...
I'll assume that there's going to be a lot of repeating of stuff from the Hollywood Bowl show, just because of all the background graphics and animations they did and getting their money worth from them (heck the Hollywood Bowl show re-used stuff from the Outside Lands concert).
I'd hope for...
Certain, popular, important things or programs based on a certain theme get screened daily (like the Seinfeld pilot or some famous episode of SNL, or Jim's YOUTH 68, which they're running soon), but the primary way to see stuff is library, which is sort of like its own type of YouTube.
I feel like that's everyone, though. S14 and Hooperfan may get a little more because they had such a vast, large collection. And it's an interesting generational gap - S14 had tons of classic stuff, but Hooperfan's is virtually all 90s stuff.
I'm sure some of it is just ungratefulness, but...
I liked it well enough. The Dragon Dance song was pretty catchy and Grover was easily the best part (I liked the visual gag that the sticky note stuck to his hand read "Stick To Your Goals"). And yes, that was Eric as Oscar.
John Legend's song was probably the longest they've done since they...
Also, keep in mind - that Ray Charles alphabet bit was originally done as a solo and they did the whole "Put Down the Duckie" thing of shooting celebs as they came to the studio or their little cameos; hence why all the celebrities in that version are from season 27.
I'm usually too nervous to approach any of them if / when I've seen any SS cast member or puppeteer. I'm lucky I was able to get Caroll's autograph (and a free doodle) at the MOMI screening of his documentary a couple of years ago.
I thought it was nice enough. I would've liked to see Zuzu in much more of the story, instead of a featured cameo pretty much. And Frankie the Worm is back, neat.
I'm starting to think that a little Cookie Monster goes a long way. I don't mind that the scale has been tipped and he's more...
