Sesame Street Season 50 Episode 5015 - There's a New Count in Town

I'm 90% sure it's the one they use in Germany, and I guess it wound up here while Sesamstrasse took a shooting break.

Sesame Street Season 50 Episode 5015 - There's a New Count in Town

Boy, didn't think I'be saying this after what we've gotten so far but - I genuinely liked this one. The song wasn't half bad (though the counting bits ruined the flow), great acting from the Count, some funny lines ("steal your thunder...and lighting") and lots of characters around (like...

New Epcot restaurant to feature Sam Eagle

I guess it's something, even if it has even less Muppet theming than PizzeRizzo.

Official: Elmo’s Staying Up Late Show coming to HBO Max on May 27, 2020

I dunno, I guess I'm used to a wider variety of characters being trotted out for stuff. And as they say, too much of a good thing yadda yadda yadda.

It might be sacrilege, but I think I'm getting a little Cookie Monster-ed out.

American Archive of Public Broadcasting to preserve nearly 4,500 Sesame Street episodes

I mean, we'll have tables in place for those soon, so it's not really all that useful to have a page that just says "Sand Alphabet - R." or whatever.

Video: Happy Presidents' Day from Sam the Eagle and Scooter

I think it might be the lighting.

I know you're just kidding, but it's all easily ascertainable information, no insider jazz this time: https://muppet.fandom.com/wiki/Episode_5029 https://www.usatoday.com/story/entertainment/tv/2019/11/06/sesame-street-50-big-bird-childrens-tv-legacy/4168350002/

Video: Happy 2020 Oscars from the Muppets

I've heard that they filmed a year's worth of these, so count on seeing 'em through the summer, I guess. (Maybe we'll get one fore President's Day today?)

Sesame Street Season 50 Episode 5013 - A New Friend on Sesame Street

It was the Foodie Truck, just with a paint job. Why waste a good prop?

    Sesame Street Season 50 Episode 5014 - Let's Draw

I don't even know what to make of that street "story." The mythology baker gag was nice, I suppose. The Marren Morris song was alright, but I liked it more when it was called "The Power of Yet."

I know the continuity these days is loosey-goosey (especially in an upcoming episode, it seems), but this goes to show they were fast and loose with it back in the day too.

Coming up with 110 episodes a year means having to go back to the ol' well every now and then.

Yeah, it's so weird. It sounds more like the Elmo voice from the late 80s/early 90s than the actual Elmo voice Kevin started with.

Official: “Muppets Now”, an unscripted series coming to Disney+ on July 31, 2020

I doubt you even thought negatively about any of them until they parted ways with Disney. We wouldn't gotten half the things we did if it weren't for Debbie or Kyle, and Steve was an instrumental part of many things, including those YouTube videos everyone loves. I have not seen any negative...

Official: “Muppets Now”, an unscripted series coming to Disney+ on July 31, 2020

I mean, it'll no doubt be amusing, but it's a short-form series on a streaming service. People will no doubt see it, but I doubt it's going to be the project that brings the Muppets back to prominence. If the two theatrical movies didn't do it, these certainly won't. And enough with the Steve...
