Nooooo. I was studying till 4 am and slept through this! I could've gone down to Times Square. I'm still holding onto hope that I'll bump into the Muppets somewhere. :P
Hey guys. I bought The Dark Crystal 20th Anniversary edition (or whichever one came in the brown box with the film cell). It was pretty pricey when I got it. Now I found out about the 25th Anniversary edition, which apparently has new behind the scenes stuff. Is it worth getting the DVD again...
That was just amazing. I think they've really captured the spirit of the Muppets with that song.
I feel like Jim Henson is alive. And Richard Hunt. And Jerry Juhl. And all the rest.
JHC is being equally weak willed about it. Since when would Jerry Juhl write a racial slur into a script? When would Jim Henson, who said that the very purpose of Fraggle Rock was to "Bring world peace," and was friends with Harry Belafonte allow a racial slur?! Seriously, this is...
It was more of a comment on how much of a loser this guy is. Seriously? A news crew comes to your house to interview you about something stupid, and you dress like a fat slob?

A compilation of behind the scenes clips!
Edit: Looks like they're going to green screen out the hand rods?
Also, SPOILER: Looks like Kermit doesn't actually live in the mansion. He just cleans the pool. :)
How do they manage to stay in business? They don't own Muppet merchandising, and the Creature Shop doesn't seem to be all that active anymore. :/ It's sad.
I was watching Puppet Up! yesterday, and a lot of the humor is pretty lame, trying very hard to be edgy and relevant. Some of it was great...
I don't know what you're talking about Duke Remington. I understand you perfectly well. Simple things are easy to understand. ;)
For the record, I can't wait for the movie.
Pessimism isn't Muppety? Come on! Apparently people have rose tinted views of the past, because there are plenty of occasions in which the muppet characters have been pessimistic. It's a human trait. People seem to think Jim Henson walked around with a wide grin his entire life.
