Sam and Friends Book Read our review of the long-awaited book, "Sam and Friends - The Story of Jim Henson's First Television Show" by Muppet Historian Craig Shemin.
Yeah, Andy is a sick individual who should not be on this forum. He admitted to me that he's registered multiple accounts on Muppet Central over the years and has been consistently banned, presumably for the same nonsense he keeps pulling. Just note that he said to me as well when he was...
Mostly because I already have two autographs from him, but that's just me, I could always use more. :insatiable:
And another thing about signing in-character, Kevin always signed as Elmo by default, too. If you ran into him now no clue if he would sign as a character or sign anything...
Yeah, I have a bit of a history with the guy who posted that thread. A little under three years ago there was this guy on Facebook who would message me constantly about Sesame Street and tape trading and he was insistent on doing a trade even though I kept explaining to him I wasn't trading...
My The Nostalgia Critic: Reloaded DVD shipped today, very excited, it's the first TGWTG DVD I've ever bought. :fanatic: Doug had me sold on it being a limited edition.
Now that I liked. It wasn't great or anything, but it left a more positive impression on me. I would definitely like to see that animated. Real shame they cut it.
After really thinking about it, it's really quite simply that I found the song annoying. Lyrics like "How bad can I be?" sound more like a song in a Saturday morning cartoon than they do a major Hollywood animated feature. The songs in the movie I thought were already bad, but that song broke me...
On the subject of The Lorax, it's very rare I feel the urge to turn off a movie or walk out just because it got so bad. Even horrible movies like The Help and The Tree of Life I trudged through as much as I hated them, but in The Lorax, when this song started, I was tempted to walk out of the...
The snowstorm that's been so overhyped has begun.
Something I've noticed though: Up east, we had almost no snow at all last winter and a generally dry spring (with a week or so of summer-quality weather). Then summer came around and we got constant heavy thunderstorms, and I mean constant...
I thought this was the puppet master:
(hey, did you guys know I have Puppet Master on laserdisc?)
That said, I've met Allan once before, very nice, talented funny guy, nice to see him get some attention.
That was a factor I've noticed since this project was announced. With the proper marketing on Fox's behalf, a new Sesame movie could be a modest success, but I can't see a Sesame movie crossing $50 million domestically, maybe even $40 million.
That said, I don't think we'll ever really...
Aw, I was looking forward to seeing Mr. Peabody and Sherman as a holiday season movie. :( And I was looking forward to Me and My Shadow just because it sounds like such a creative and interesting film. I really think Rise of the Guardians flopping as something to do with all these lay-offs. I...
Not a Muppet special per se, but a check of Muppet Wiki seems to indicate this special has enough Muppet material to have it worth mentioning that it's coming out.

Interestingly, it seems to be from the same company that distributed the...
I hate to say it, but I think this project is most certainly dead - or it'll be a long time before we see it. Since the announcement, Sesame has gone through some major transitions and I really doubt the team is really ready to do a theatrical film.
Last Valentine's Day, I did the best thing possible: watched The Naked Gun, that might have to become a tradtion because I'm overdue to watch that movie again. :D
I watched it on Saturday, the edits drove me bananas. I knw they have to fit the movie to fit a 2-hour timeslot with commercials but this edits really didn't work in the film's favor.
