I think Gonzo is a puppet.
;)
I actually really dug MFS, and I don't know why. A lot of people make very strong and well thought out statements about the Muppets playing characters vs. the Muppets playing themselves, and that's probably why MFS is my favorite post Jim Muppet film.
Without going into details, in light of possibly offending anyone here on MC, I'm amazed how so many people think their impressions of popular characters (Muppet or not) are so accurate, when they're not even close.
Having said that, I think it's a nice tribute when people actually do stuff...
Thank you all so so much for your kind words, well wishes, and prayers. Yesterday was four solid months clean and sober.
The last two and a half years have been the darkest of my life. I have been faced with some difficult situations and not come out on top. However, my whole life has been...
Very very cool! How do you see when you're in the costume?
At the SS 40th Event, I think I remember Caroll saying that they looked in the storage area where they keep larger retired Muppets just a few years ago to discover the actual Bruno Muppet was severely deteriorated. He said it would...
I agree with this a lot. There's a brief mention that because Jim and Frank were so preoccupied with things like TMS, SS relied heavily on Richard and Jerry, but Jerry barely got any face time in the book.
This really is fantastic and so overwhelming! I'm just starting to learn how to paint with a Walcom tablet. Do you have any tutorials? I'd love to see your technique.
I love intentionally hidden things in films! I say intentionally because it's a deliberate wink to the audience, not some stupid rumor like the hanging midget in "Wizard of Oz" (actually a live bird) or the ghost boy in "Three Men And A Baby".
There's a whole website devoted to hidden Mickey's...
Yeah, I know they're rare and going for more than their original value, but that's a bit too steep for me, sorry. I hope you're able to find a buyer though!
I know, right? What a scumbag! That's why I loved that book though, it did not shy from giving overly honest opinions about people. Even Jane Henson wasn't safe!
I think popularity dictates that Gonzo and Animal will be the cover Muppets for seasons 4 and 5. Who will be on which is yet to be seen. I really really think "Of Muppets And Men" is the no-brainer to put on one of these sets.
So sad. How disconcerting too! I mean, Disney parks are a throw back to the good ol' days. Simpler times, better morals and values; and they toss out the very soul of what helps create that? I love Disney, I really do, but this is shameful. No golden parachutes either, I bet. Just "Don't let the...
I'll have to check if Mrs. Ganz-Cooney is on there. I wasn't looking for her name, so I don't remember. :o
What I'm having some trouble believing is that this hasn't been discussed here before. At least I haven't found anything about it.
