I just watched The Incredibles again over the weekend and I was stunned at how passionate and well done film it really is. I always really liked it, but after I watched it again, I really appreciated it.
Sorry, I was wrong. The March 12 featured article was about Lazare Ponticelli, the last surviving officially recognized veteran of the First World War from France, and he died last year. This is still a great read though and I recommend it. There are still in fact quite a few surviving WWI...
My sister-in-law picked them up for me 2 months ago. I was very pleasantly surprised by the figures! My only complaint is that the lightsabers tend to bend too much from packaging, but a little patience takes care of it.
I have not heard this. I thought Jim was actually rather instrumental about the theater, but I could be wrong. I did hear though that at the time, Richard was very ill, and very few of his characters appear in the show, so he did a lot of the pre-show with Scooter hosting.
Not to go off on a tangent myself, but I highly recommend Neal Gabler's biography on Walt Disney: "The Triumph Of The American Imagination". It doesn't mention Mr. Allwine, but still a fascinating read about Mickey and his legend and legacy.
Wow, I was just reading about her on Wikipedia last week. She claimed (of course) that she had absolutely no memories of that evening, but was very involved with Titanic memorials, preservationists and awareness campaigns. It was just a month or two ago that the last living soldier from WWI just...
I'm not saying I'm not excited, I'm saying the new game that's coming out is not looking very good and if that's any kind of barometer, then I'm skeptic about a third movie.
Now to be fair, the game does not look good because they've barely shown any of it. In the game trailers, they show...
I was shocked when I heard this. How devastating. I hope people understand how important this man was. My prayers are particularly with Russi Taylor, his wife and voice of Minnie.
Nowadays at least, but that's because Piggy is the most misunderstood, underwritten and over parodied character. I hate this whole thin and shallow "I'm a diva" persona they insist on giving the pig. Remember when she was the most popular Muppet ever? It wasn't just about being shallow, prissy...
Wait a minute, I thought canonically, the video game that comes out this June was going to be the third installment. Akroyd and Ramis wrote it and Murray and Hudson also joined the voice cast. Rick Moranis was the only one who wouldn't come back. So I'm not sure I understand the problem here...
The world really is a better place for having him, and at the same time, the world just hasn't been the same without him. God, I miss you, Jim... we all miss you.
