I see segments like that only being hyped up in a case of people just wanting to see what isn't available.
Honestly, many segments that have eventually surfaced after being unavailable for the public for years haven't even been that exciting as people hyped them up to be.
I think that song was mostly tongue in cheek to be honest. But that’s honestly one of my favorite Missing Persons songs, and they’re just an underrated band in general.
To be honest, looking at the two Don Music street appearances in season 16, I feel like Little Chrissy and the Alphabeats were shoe-horned in “Imagine That,” as were the country AM band trio with two members closely resembling the Alphabeats.
I mean it’s clear women were providing backing...
Actually though, I am glad the Tarzan-jungle style hair was ditched for the Pumpkin hippie commonly associated as Rockin’ Richard of the Monotones in favor of putting back the smooth black hair the character design initially had in season 1 once Little Jerry and his band became established by...
Well they were lip-syncing to the original pre-recorded track from season 1. Jim performed the lead hippie in the original segment as he did provide vocals as well.
I don’t think trivial details like headwear or body parts flying off would be noted in the scripts. And I’m pretty sure none of it was intentional, I mean top hats like that can easily fall off a puppet’s head if it’s otherwise just sitting on top flat and not placed over the head like the shape...
Sadly, given he was in his 90s, it was only a matter of time. Still, it is very unfortunate he left us months after we lost Emilio. He will forever be missed.
Does anyone know the fonts used for the lower-thirds music video credits for “NTV” and “A New Way to Walk?” I would like to try a little experiment with them putting captions at the end of both videos (for fun).
I mean “Surprise!” also showed the wig was coming pretty loose so I think that, “Before and After” and the R quickies ditty were just instances the wig wasn’t put on properly.
I’ll admit, seeing the pumpkin hippie in all the 8 appearances he appeared in with the wild Tarzan-like hair makes me kinda wish he lost his hair in every single segment he appeared in as an (accidental) running gag. :stick_out_tongue:
So this season 2 Beatles cover I think has now officially become my favorite out of all their songs they covered on the show. But anyway, looking at the puppetry for Marty, it looks like Frank is performing his movement, and I think Jerry is performing the Pumpkin AM whose design would become...
I mean we (so far) only have two full episodes of Sesame Park available for viewing (far as I know anyway)…… so I’m not too familiar with the formatting of the show.
On that subject as well, it has also made me wonder if these airings in particular also came from Sesame Park and not so much...
They last aired in the domestic show in season 19. I was thinking it could have been a Sesame Park episode perhaps, but it was also hard to tell with the lack of the CBC logo
