Re: Ken-
I ventured into TRU today, and they hadn't gotten them in yet. SIGH. The women had no idea what I was talking about, but looked them up for me. She gave me a SKU number that anyone call use at any TRU to find out if they are in. It is 531281. Just call TRU and give that to them...
I emailed him the second I saw post the first time!
I don't care about many of the exclusives, but this one is a little different as it is:
a.) Really Cool!
b.) Has "playablility" factor to it!
I'm not big on varients and exclusives, but this one is pretty darn tooting cool!
I keep hearing stories here and there about him having a talk show. Has anyone else heard these. I don't know how much is fact vs. fiction, but I'd like to see him come back in some form or another.
Thats what I was thinking, and that's why I posted it here. I'm not holding my breath on them though. I have a feeling it will be another flash in the pan. Two or three shorts released, then the department will be shut down.

Noel Blanc Update
Hey Everyone,
Thanks for the update on Noel Blanc. I really figured that he just had no interest in voice work, was only letting his father train him to appease him, and had just gone off to do his own thing. The fact that he is keeping his father's memory and work alive...
Jamie, Jamie, Jamie,
Please tell me you are being just a little sarcastic. If not, may I remind you of Enceno Man!!! (however you spell it)(Me I spell it C-R-A-P)
I don't think Noel has done any of his father's characters for years. The main plan was that he would take over after his...
I see your point. I guess I just thought Shrek went for cheap laughs at times. I just don't know what it is about the film that I don't like. I've never been able to put my finger on it. I am interested to see what the sequel will be like. I'm hoping it will focus on more of the fairy tale...
I have to agree with Beaker on Shrek. I'm one of the only people I know who didn't really enjoy it all that much. I thought Monsters Inc. was far better (but nothing will ever touch Toy Story 2 IMHO)
:D
I'm 99% sure that Kermit signing his version of The Carpenter's, "Close to You."
I'm also pretty sure this wasn't ever sung in a movie. Now on that I could be wrong.
For my computer I downloaded a program called "Webshots". It allows you to use any photo file as a screensaver. The Muppets online one is ok, but it got on my nerves a little bit.
With my webshots program, I have themes. At christmas, I change it to feature only Muppet Christmas Pictures...
Jim Hill wrote some really interesting stuff on the Disney/Henson relationship at www.laughingplace.com
It gives a little insite into the buisness side of the relationship, and the ultimate downfall.
Hey Phillip,
It was Bugs' 50th Birthday. Not only did some great merchandise come out that year, but you are right, a lot of shorts where in the theaters. I remember getting so excited at the opening of Gremlins 2 when Daffy showed up on screen.
Chuck Jones also did a few new Road Runner...
Jamie,
Well I went home and watch the tape, and you were right (my hats off to you), Rob Minkoff directed Tummy Trouble and Roller Coaster Rabbit. He didn't direct, but executive produced, Trail Mix Up.
I had forgotten how great these shorts were. A real tip of the hat to the great...
