Actually, the thing is, a lot of that music that's used in films does not actually belong to Sesame Street. They get it from some library of music that can be used anywhere. Many old films were like this, even to this day.
Your forgot the last verse:
That the big become the little
That's the way it seems to go
That they make up a larger thing
Is something good to know
It's nice to know that though we're small
There's always room to grow
And that's about the size of it
(very softly)
That's about the...
Welcome to our forum. What you need is Sesame Street Unpaved episode #926 or #1041. Both of these episodes have the clip you're looking for. Now, all you need is something to trade for it. But it's great you found our forum. You can find anything on the internet. :)
Coincidently, one of the PBS stations I get here is NHPTV out of New Hampshire, and it is also channel 11. They did air some collages of all different shows on PBS, and one of them was a shot of the clock in the "Pinball" animation pointing to the number 11. WGBH Channel 2 in Boston never did...
Um, can we get back to the subject of 1-2-3-4-5?
Anyway, what exactly happened when the singers were singing "la la la la la"? And about when do you think this was last used?
Okay, here goes:

Actually, I have something very interesting to tell you about this song. Yes, it did have 2 different versions. One for SS, and one for The Count Counts LP. Now, on the album, some of the lyrics were different, because the visual gags that GeeBee described wouldn't work. So, like each time he...
Oh, and also, does anyone remember an alternate ending they used over the city and the sea at night? It was usually used if an episode ended at night. I have two shows with it on it. Unpaved episode #2615 used it, and I also have it on #2795. How far does this date back to? It looks like it was...
Well, there was one opening theme sequence that started off with Big Bird and kids in a wagon/hay ride. Maybe that's what you're thinking of. It was used from 1988 until 1992.
Well, here's how the Barkley closing sequence went:
First, we see an open field, and then Barkley comes on screen and barks twice. Then, he runs away from the camera with a bunch of other kids. We then see Barkley and the kids walking over a bridge. After the bridge part, we see them running...
Was the one with the kids in the wagon different from Barkley? There was no wagon in the Barkley and the kids closing sequence that was used from 1980-1992. Was this an alternate ending they used sometimes?
I actually wonder how long that "bells and horns" music actually went. If you'll notice, on episode 1095, it played for longer than usual, a full 45 seconds. How long exactly was this piece?
