I'm brand new to this forum so forgive if I'm not exactly following protocol. I've searched everywhere for the Cookie Monster in the library clip ("This is a liiiibrary. We only have books, just books, only books.") but to no avail.

I'm a school librarian and want to use the clip with students during library orientations at the beginning of the year. Humor works wonders with junior high students!

Any help you all can provide would be MOST appreciated!

i wonder how many kids over the years since that skit was made have driven school & public librarians crazy by asking them for a box of cookies?

Welcome to our forum. What you need is Sesame Street Unpaved episode #926 or #1041. Both of these episodes have the clip you're looking for. Now, all you need is something to trade for it. But it's great you found our forum. You can find anything on the internet.

Thank you! What kinds of things can be traded?

Well, typically, most of us here at Muppet Central prefer episodes of Sesame Street. I know, I do. Do you have any?

Heh..Heh..

I'm actually employed as an elementary school librarian (or, as they say, "Library Media Specialist").
I can say honestly that I've been asked some strange things, but I've never been asked that question.
