That all sounds like good news, Mr. Diresta--thanks for taking the time to post the updates here and letting us know.
Can't wait to see what y'all are doing with them!
:)
Hiya Becky!
The last thing I heard was that Season 35 is in production right now, and should premiere in January 2004. For the last few years, they've started the seasons in January...so we've still got a bit of a wait.
Can't wait to see what's comin our way.
:grouchy: :p :( :)
Mr. Diresta, give them all our love and tell them we like to buy toys. We like to buy a lot of toys. When they're well-made.
I'm sorry if we're overwhelming you. This line could be a Sesame Street fan's dream come true.
Bring it on, daddy!
:p :(
Glad I could help!
Media Play also just got "It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie" in stock, and it's on sale this week for $14.99....so if you were planning on picking that up later in the year, it might be worth your while to pick it up now...

31 ???
That's OOOOLD!!!!
Cookie Monster has always beena lighter, teal color when illustrated, even though he appears to be a royal blue color to us on TV...Grover's darker than he is by several degrees...
Clueless had the biggest speaking role of any of the Muppet villains in MTI; I think we'll see Clueless Morgan and Mad Monty in some form before the end of the line. Of course, since this is only Series 9 we're talking about, I don't think it'll be just yet...but at some future point I think a...
Okay, I posted this in the Merchandise Thread too, but thought it would be worth repeating in the action figures section so's everyone gets a chance to see it. And Tough Pigs and Palisades, but that's a ho nother story.
Anyway:
Media Play's newspaper ad today has 25% off all regularly...
Media Play's newspaper ad today has 25% off all regularly priced Muppets Apparel and Toys....it has pics of a Sababa Beaker, Muppet Movie DVD, and Animal T-Shirt, but it should also apply to Palisades figures and PVCs and other stuff...
This doesn't happen often, so if you have some catching...
You reeeeeally think they'll put two Piggys in one wave? Did you have that dream I had last night about....well, never mind. But with S1 Piggy having done so badly, I don't think these little piggies will both go to market. At the same time.
*thinking about that dream again*
Oh yeah...
But S9 will be out almost a year from now...so Pepe will be a thing of the past by then. As much a thing of the past as WW Dr Teeth is right now.
I'm currently reading Kidd's "Art of Charles Schulz" and it's another great one.
If you're a fan of the animated stuff, there are several pages of Alex Ross' own version of a lot of characters in Bruce Timm's style...there's some good good stuff there. So go get it!
:D
I just finished "Mythology," and it was an excellent overview of Ross' DC Comics work and how he works the magic. Very nice stuff. Since I've already read all of his stuff, and loved all of it, the best for me was seeing the sketches and behind the scenes stuff. They even throw in some of his...
I'm mostly with you on this one:
TMS Naked Rowlf (it's time)
TMS Louis Kazagger (completing the Muppet Newsteam, and obscure)
GMC Pops (with check-in desk and Gaffer the Cat, I hope!)
MTI Benjamina Gunn -- I think it will either be her or a Gonzo/Rizzo 2-Pack
(EXCLUSIVE MFS) Tutu Pepe...
Thanks PL, I based them on a specific Muppet Special, "The Muppets Go To The Movies," which had Scooter playing the Scarecrow...otherwise I probably would have used Kermit too. But hey, give Scooter a break. It's not easy bein' yellow.
;)
There are only three so far:
1) The "Hair Up" Miss Piggy from Series 1...you already have her.
2) The "Hair Down" Glamour Piggy EB Exclusive. This was the same body as the figure you've got, with a new head and hair sculpt (it's what I used for the Mermaid Piggy in another thread). It...
Thanks for the 9/10, PiggyLover! I'll take what I can get. I'd love to see some of your stuff--you have any pics online?
I think there are a lot of people who "customize" a lot better than I do--I'm sort of self-taught, never had any art classes, don't know how to really sculpt or paint...
I got some of the Miss Piggys buy one-get one free at EB a long time ago. And I'm close to running out  so there won't be many more Piggy customs from me.
