i want to know what poor role model celebs are. What does that even mean? Since when did Jim Henson worry about role model celebs? didn't he have Alice Cooper on the freaking Muppet Show?
I think you are another one of those people who can't like anything new. You look at all the bad...
Block figures are like lego men. Some have sculpted parts and some are just painted up block figures.
Personally, I would rather not see block figures. There really is not a need for them. I would rather see mini PVC figures. I bet those would make it into a lot of stores and sell well...
Bert and Ernie are children mentally just as Grover is a child mentally. They have no actual ages and really I odn't think anyone was meant to question it that much. They are what they are.
Kist because more things are talked about on TV and media does not mean the world is any less moral. Would you say the 70's were a more moral time with all the free and unprotected sex, drugs, war, and racism? Were the 1700's more moral with the opression of human rights in the united states...
Well it's not that great of an advertisement now. It's like 15 years old, but I see your point none the less.
I do not see why those would be edited out. The only possible reason would be if SW made a huge deal about it and I doubt they would.
This I agree with. It would be really cool to have some of these specials in some kind of best of box set.
Question though. Why would Disney want to rerelease the muppet show compilation stuff? They are releasing entire season box sets. The reason those compilations got released was...
The problem with Bobo mightb e that he was a dim character in a sea of new dim characters on MT. If we didn't have Andy and Ramdy and Phil and Spamela taking up all the stupid, Bobo might have worked out better ae THE dim one. He's a rather good character really. The voice and personality are...
That's a job for a different compnay now. Sam and Freidns is in the hands of the Jim Henson Compnay. The problem is, hardly anyone knows of the show. At least with the Ed Sullivan stuff they could use the famous Ed Sullivan name.
Jim Henson Hour is so split up it would not pay to release it as it's own DVD set. Perhaps the muppet television partas that Disney owns will make it into other DVDs as extras.
I am glad MTI and MCC are being released as special editions. I really want to see those in wide screen. I wonder...
Yeah, she probably should have been, though Poppy's made you sleep which is not really her style. She was a one shot character though with no substance. No real reason to even include her.
I know. That is why I said it was not totally true and cited those examples. I know that TMS was made for adults first and kids second, I then cited examples where the reverse is true.
Happy Feet is all of a sudden this big memorable thing? Since when? It's a fog boucning up and down in a tux. How is that more gewnious than say Kermit on MT sining that song in the giant white suit? I love bit, though I cant for the life of me remember the nname of the song. The tune runs...
Are you saying we don't have a real sense of what entertainment is?
Just because most people like one show over another does not mean the show they choose not to watch is not aimed at them. If Family Guiy was up against Law and ORder, I bet a lot of people would choose Family Guy too. Does...
What family values have declined.
Spamela was far less "over sexed" than Piggy was on TMS. She was a stupid character, like all the new pigs for some reason. The only real difference between Piggy and Spamela is that Spamela wore a bikini. How is this something that destroys family values...
