Wow, someone has been practicing their Rowlf! That is much better than the Rowlf on the Weezer video making of. I hope this is a sign of more Rowlf in the future.
1. Probably because John will play Floyd with speaking parts in the future so they decided to switch him now rather than later. i mean, someone had to play Floyd anway.
2. Perhaps Floyd had speaking parts i the movie and it was cut for time.
3. Maybe they arem essing with us.
I have it too. He doesn't have a helmet though. He has the same hat the Piggy had as the wicked witch in MWoO. He doesn't look nearly as cool with that hat. Also it looks nothingl ike thep icture on the site. That picture uses a Kermit poser. It's rather misleading. Kermit has no texture...
That Kermit looks exactly like the Kermit mini from Palisades Toys. The only difference is it costs 4 times as much and is sitting on a horse for some strange reason.
This time around it is Dave and Steve doing the characters and Bill doing Pepe. I think the writing for Statler and Waldorf is better too. In MWoO it wasn't so great and the S7W stuff on Muppets.com isn't so good either. I hope we see more of these and maybe even some Fozzie on some comedy...
No, a test segement was done with low level performers around Oscar time. It was posted on the web and had a pretty low production vakue. Apprenbtly the feedback was good so they decided to make it a real regular spot for them using Steve, Dave, and Bill this time. Also the production value...
Yeah, MTI was quite original. Instead of making the characters fit into the parts they made the parts fit the characters. I thought it was done quite well and really felt like a movie. MFS never feltl ike am ovie to me. I don't hate it, but there are lot of things about it that I do hate...
Yeah, AVMMC was really a muppet show based movie. It was like an extended myuppet show with no guest star or regular skits. What else could a Muppet Show Movie be other than AVMMC? A hour and a half long regular muppet show?
I'm not opposed to continuing the old muppet show with the...
Wow, I'm surprised no one has come across this thread in over a year as well.
Well, I do not remember much about Fraggle Rock, but I do remember one episode in which Matt visited a sheep ranch. The guy sheering the sheep just picked up Matt and sheered him too. So, since this is the only...
Not really. You want the same characters with the same theater. Obviously the material would be new, but is it really a new show or just the old show being continued? I'm sure people would want Pigs in Space back and I am sure people would want Vet's Hospital and all that stuff. Sounds more...
Well it is possible these are things that were cut for time, not content. There was a funny Santa scene in AVMMC with Bobo and Kermit that was cut, not because it was bad, but because they just needed stuff to cut down on time.
I think you guys are trying too hard to hang onto the past. I mean do you really want a rehash of the same old muppet show? Why? Because it is familiar? While I did enjoy seeing the Muppet Theater in AVMMC, I don't know if they should just rehash the show.
I don't think the joke from Rizzo is some kind of look into Steve's mind. It's a bit of a strech.
Speaking of MFS comentary, during the doctor's in the hall way scene Rizzo actually talks like Kermit vecause apprently Steve got a little confused there. The line is "See?" after Rizzo...
Just a point about "I'm Going to Go Back There Some Day". I believe he was looking up at the sky because he had been flying up there with the giant pile of baloons and he loved it because it was flying. I don't think he was talking about an alien world.
In Muppet babies there were a couple...
Original? I think not. It was anything but original to find out Gonzo is an alien. Seemed like a rather obvious path to take. Also we NEVER got a look at his origin. In the trailers we were told Gonzo was an alien, and that is all we got from the movie as well. We didn't even find out his...
