3 follows the style of the first set, a close up of a part of a character. I don't know why anyone owuld vote for the othero nes since it just looks like a glamour shot of piggy.
What's with the banjo and log stuff all of a sudden? Palsiades started it which was really cool, never been done before, now we have this piece of junk and like 5 others before it and after the Palsiades mini. DO SOMETHING NEW!
Bill sounds like slower slightly less italian Jonny Fiama and BRian sounds like a less ftrantic slightly deeper italian Sal.
I don't really know why they used such giant puppets. I don't think they are all that great. Not much expression in them other than what is built in. I was...
They really need to take some kind of class on posing. It's not that great a pose, but it is a great poser. No matter how good they make the Kermit, it's still the responsibility of the consumer to pose it right.
Yeah, the pupils of the puppet are flocked. Most is not all pupils are on the muppets. It's just easier that way. If they want to make a character cross eyed they don't need to put all new eyes on it. I would assumed the whites of the eyes weren't flocked though.
Ok...this news is awsome. The only thing I am worried about it getting a 1978 piggy. I think Piggy looked her best in 1981 in the Great Muppet Caper. Best look she ever had. Animal in classic outfit is really nice too. I wonder if he will have all his hair too instead of his balding look...
Why though? Just so people who should have stopped watching Sesame Street years ago don't have to face the reality of change?
Fact is people get old, they retire, they die. It happens. Now the voice will never sound exactly the same. Sure there are voice actors out there that can probably...
GabeFirestone, you say that people might be offended by the term weird asian ebayers, even though these ebayers are weird, are asian, and of course are ebayers. You aren't asian, but you felt the need to tell him it might offend. Then when you find out he is japanese, the comment can no longer...
But why replace Etric then? I think he does a great job. He's had the character for awhile now along with their Sesame counter parts, except Cookie monster. Why replace him?
I do agree that Dave needs a back up. I mean he is getting up there in age. He seem really active and all, but it...
So you are saying that these new performers can some how to a better job than the skilled performers who have worked with these characters for years, many of which worked with Jim Henson himself. Some how Gonzo is played better by some new guy rather than Dave? Rizzo better than Steve? Jonny...
That doesn't make it right. Why not just re-dub all of Kermits lines so he sounds like the Kermit of today. Why not re-dub everyone's lines using the current performers.
Personally I like these guys better than Steve and Dave. Dave always did Waldorf with horrible timing. He played the character too hacky. And Steve's Statler, while the voice was good, had the same mannerisms and verbal crutches as Kermit now has. These new guys perform a lot better and I...
