Thats cause that pic is rather blurred. Not really a good comparison.
I still don't really like this poser. The prototype was far superior, and I don't just mean the nose.
Yeah. Scrooge is a good choice. Seems they just went with a popular character instead of what would make sense. If anything Stitch makes a good yoda. In fact, I think they have him as Yoda too.
Scooter not as well known?
That's just stupid. The people who buy these things will know who Scooter is. And frankly Scooter just LOOKS GOOD which is most important here. He's got the perfect color scheme and an interesting look and out fit.
Travis, what are you thinking?
Delays aren't the same as broken promises. you can not help delays. As a consumer all you really have is a right to the goods you payed for, and if I recall most sites don't charge until the item is shipped, unless you pay by pay pal. So in reality, it's not like you have lost anything.
One difference is that they could use the high density foam stuff and flock it to get the same look as the puppet. Gonzo's nose it just bare painted foam, I think. I'm pretty sure Piggy is flocked foam and I think the new piggy's are some kind of injected foam latex stuff. not sure about...
The final Fozzie looks really good, but for some reason he seems too skinny to me. Compare that fozzie to this fozzie.

the first one is certainly the right one. Connecting talk to telephone operator is just way out there.
People forge the muppet show had a good deal of sexual jokes and such. Piggy was even called a sex symbol in one of the muppet specials. Everyone always seems o forget stuff like this. I...
They do, or did, on Sesame Street. I think. I believe there was a time where Cookie Monster and Grover were on screen at the same time and one of them was Frank for sure. Can't remember now, but it was neat seeing the two characters done live.
Anyhoo, it's sad Frank seems to want nothing to...
I think it is too early to judge the sales. Kermit is the only one out and as popular as Kermit is, I think most people are kind of sick of him. I know I was going to pass on Kermit because I didn't want to end up with just a Kermit. there is a lot of good Kermit merch out there. So while he...
Well for one I don't see the EM as obscure. if we are talking Marvin Suggs then I agree totally (though he would be neat) but not the EM. When it comes to high end products like this you will always attract the hard core fans. No one who is a casual fan is going to buy a 400 dollar Fozzie...
I disagree because the people buying these are people who know the characters and the show. Kermit may have been bought by anyone, but the further down the line you get the more hard core fans you have. It's like the action figure line. No one though someone like Lips would sell, but he did...
Rowlf would be cool. it won't look much like the puppet though as the puppet is a blanket puppet. Rowlf didn't have clearly separate arms like Ernie, Fozzie, and Link. He has arms like Chef where Rowlf really has no shoulders.
Janice would be cool too, and Floyd is visually stunning like...
Well I don't see this as being a hoax. I just wanna see something more close to the actual product before I start waiting for it. I'm rather annoyed that Piggy is just a straight up pose head. They did the same thing with the motor cycle figures and I was very disappointed.
Plus Scooter is making a come back. In the last 2 TV movies Scooter was there. With lines no less! Plus he was part of that Muppets TV show in france. Hopefully this is a trend that will continue.
I think a bunsen and beaker set would be so great, but I dunno if that will happen because they'd really need to be done together. Scooter is one I really want cause I always thought he had a great design and color scheme. A camilla might be cool for Gonzo, but I don't see myself spending too...
