Statler and Waldorf are photoshopped too?
It looks like Fozzie and the Chef are added digitally, but they look like actual sculpts too. I wonder just how awful the piggy sculpt is since they left the pretty bad Scooter.
Edit: Also, notice Fozzie is missing his eye lids too. Some of them...
It's probably a real product, but it is definitely photoshopped up a lot. And it looks to like the Piggy head is all photoshop, taken from the tilted head pic they like to replace old piggy heads with.
Edit; looking at the pic they gave Fozzie a tail. Fozzie doesn't have a tail.
Hmm. I wonder how long they have the license for. Is it for an amount of time or number of characters perhaps. Considering how long it takes to produce each one perhaps we won't see as many as we'd like, Though we will have the top 5 plus Rizzo. I can't wait for Fozzie and as soon as we see...
I don't think that's gonna work.
1. More than 100 Gonzo's will be made.
2. If the foam degrades faster for some people you'll likely see more than 1 nose replaced per replica.
3. The cost of storing that many Gonzo noses in proper conditions would probably cost more than the profit...
Wow, that actually looks good. piggy is surprisingly good. Most times sculptors never get her right, but this is spot on. I agree about Scooter though. He's way off. Everything else is rather good.
Edit: after looking it over, is this the actual product or are some parts photoshop? Piggy...
Interesting, but I'm not sure how that could be done once the poser is put together. I do hope there is a way around it and I also hope the final products of these look a little more like the original hand made prototypes. I got Kermit today and while he is cool, it's lacking compared to the...
I JUST got my Kermit in the mail and all I did was open the box and was amazed already. It looks great! I will try playing with the poses today. I hope i can take pics. My camera took a bad fall onto a cement floor a few hours ago. :(
Fleece does not look like foam and will not look right. You said it yourself, whatever is used has to look right. As for the we should be happy we get anything comment, no we shouldn't. If we are spending 250 on Gonzo it should look right. Sure some things being off are part of the process...
No, it seemed like he was attempting the current Fozzie, but it was just so robotic. He tried Fozzie's "ahhhh" but instead he sounded very robotic and monotone. Plus the move with the hat just looked so bad. It's like he didn't even come close to his mannerisms, first or second season. It's...
Ok, so I am an idiot when it comes to computers. I'm looking to buy a new one and I think I found a good deal, BUT it says it has an Intel Pentium D 925 3.0GHz Dual Core.
Now, i know that Dual Core means it has basically 2 processors. But, I can't figure out if Intel Pentium D 925 3.0GHz Dual...
That's all good and well, but he shouldn't have attempted to do the impressions if he couldn't do them, and he couldn't. They were bad. When someone is a professional there is no reason to have to make excuses for them. It seems he just felt like he had to do them because all he does are...
I agree. I hate his impressions of the muppets and i hate that the muppets acted like they were good. It was much funnier in the Star Wars episode where Mark Hammil actually did decent ones and the muppets had no idea. Rich Little's Piggy just creeps me out.
Nice poses, I like the one where he looks like he is thinking. Were those pictures taken in order? Meaning the sheesh face was done before the ones after it? If so it does seem to spring back quite nice.
Good tips.
So the eyes do twist? I was wondering about that. I'd like to make a sheesh face for him, but I fear that will make it impossible to get his mouth in a normal shape again.
With the news of my new job I promptly went to ebay and bought myself a Kermit, $194 total (darn sales tax added 14 bucks to the price). So, I'll have some pics of my own to show soon hopefully. Any tips on how to get the look just right?
