Its amazing.... people make the chouce to eat crap and then blame the company that provided the crap. Ive made the choice to eat like crap. Then I made the choice to eat healthy and loose a bunch of weight. Then i made the choice to eat like crap again. I dont blame the fast food joints. At...
I dont understand why fast foid fir kids needs to be healthy. The kids arent the ones making the choice to go to McDonalds. The parents know what is and isnt healthy. Why was McDonalds pressured into making Happy Meals into Healthy Meals?
I think the problem is McDonalds went from being a...
I miss the good old days when kids could eat crap and just be happy about it. I remeber going to the local McDonalds, getting a happy meal, and just having fun with a neat toy. Then I would bring my ninja turtles to my friends house and pretend to engage in violent battle or use lego pieces to...
I would be very interested in seeing a fan edit of the film. I am positive the youtube video was put out by Henson after the studio butchered his movie as a means of getting the backstory out there.
I'm not a HUGE Star Wars fan, but I do like it. To me, Last Jedi had great ideas with poor execution. The idea that Luke turned away from the force because he had given into fear is awesome, imo. He feared Ben would turn into the next Vader, so he went to stop it before it happened. He...
(I wasn't active on the boards when this all went down so since no one will let the thread die I will add my two cents)
I think part of the reason some people have not gotten over the change is because many expected Steve to be Kermit until he retired. No other Muppet performer has been flat...
I should also mention that the resin I use is not meant for sturdy jointed figures. Short of sending figures to China to be injection molded (which I certainly can't afford) anything I make will have fragile joints and I would hate for people to try moving their figures only for them to snap at...
If I ever did get to make full fledged articulated figures I would probably include basic accessories. Like for Bert i would do a framed and mounted bottle cap collection, a pink soap dish, and letter W. Probably nothing else thats too crazy. I have trouble with stuff thats too small. Fat...
Dude, I dont know why you are making this generational. This is a Muppet fan site. You have no claim tonit, regardless if your age. Philip doesnt not owe you or anyone else anything. Yes, post what issues you have, but if they dont get addressed move on, start your own site. This has nothing...
There was a photoshop revision done that address the eye brow placement as well as the hair. I have the picture that was posted online if it from years ago and used it for my own version. I have one that is like 80% complete as far as sculpting goes, but I couldnt get the joints that way I...
I mean.... if you all really want the thread to go away you could just stop posting in it... one person posted something a few days ago and then everyone started posting about how bad it was for someone to post in it.
Well yeah, none of the Palisades set were in scale with the figures. They were all too small, except maybe the drum set. Chef is the size if the fridge in his kitchen and his hand is bugger than his sink. Plus, i think this playset was going to be done DST style where you buy figures that...
Another Ask DST was posted and the future of the Muppet line came up. They said they would have to sell a great deal more Chefs to break even. And if they just broke even they would release more figures. So, if anyone hasnt gotten a Chef please do so now, and probably be best to buy directly...
I saw this a while back and promptly snagged all the pics I could. That Bert was an early prototype and I believe was suppose to go through revisions to make him less.. ugly poser like.
One day I hope to be good enough to sculpt characters like Oscar with the same level of detail as this. I...
Remember when the Muppets were on Carpool Karaoke and at the end they started to play Rainbow Connection until the group complained that they always sing that song, and then Kermit publicly sang it about 3 times immediately after that episode was released?
I dunno. Its not really competition. I belongbto both Tough Pigs and Muppet Central. They arent competing in my mind. I go to which ever is most active. Tough Pigs tends to be up on news, and this forum tends to be better suited for none muppet talk, oddly enough.
Doing one's best and obtaining results are two different things. One can try really hard to accomplish something, but at the end of the day either it was accomplished or it wasnt.
