Okay, I'll admit that I wasn't too sure about Angelo when I first saw him (mostly out of rage/concern/confusion that he wasn't the Swedish Chef), but after seeing the 'show', I could get why they aren't using good ol' Chef and he kinda grew on me (even though he did smoosh that poor cupcake)...
I thought that, since there's one of these for DVDs it might be nice to have one for books. :D
The last book I bought was The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan because I'm a fan of the Percy Jackson series and thought it was worth a look.
Alien & Aliens: Collector's Editions - Because I didn't know they were still available and wanted to make sure I got them before they disappeared.
Monty Python's And Now for Something Completely Different - To finish my Monty Python movie collection.
Now that the (broadcast) season is over I thought I'd pose a few more questions(:shifty:):
What did you think of the season as a whole?
Did you think that they managed to re-capture the original Futurama magic at any point?
What's the capitol of South Dakota?
Did anyone else find that...
My newest current signature:
If a tree falls in the forest, and no one is around to hear it, could it still squash you flat?
Is just a random phrase that popped into my head and made me laugh.
Is your Gonzo from the not too distant future, next Sunday A.D.? (Sorry, I couldn't resist)
I wish I had the means to purchase one of these guys, and a place to display him, but, alas, I have neither.
They just look so great! :concern:
I'm just paraphrasing from memory here, but I saw a comment like that.
The commenter was trying to use a clip of the opening number as an example of how Disney has ruined the Muppets and how they would never do something like that back on The Muppet Show. What's worse is that the video's...
I thought that both Nibbler and Amy's subplots were great for character development, I just wish they had put them into a slightly more interesting episode.
The two tear jerking episodes in a row kind of took me off guard, but I'm not complaining because I like the emotinal ones.
I'm...
In a vain attempt to get this thread started again, I pose these questions:
What did you think of the Futurama DVD movies?
Do you think the new season is getting better or worse with each new episode?
Do these pants make my butt look big?
You'd kinda think that an obsessed Muppet fan would know why The Swedish Chef is so crazy in his sketches. ;)
You might be an obsessed Muppet fan if you sit on a table, blowing cold air on people and are obsessed with the Muppets! (Get it? :excited:)
I like to think that the GOOD parts of VMX were the work of Jim Lewis and the BAD parts (like that bit with the violent Whos which makes me uncomfortable) were the sole fault of Tom Martin.
I'm probably not 100% right, but that thought helped me get to sleep that night. :smirk:
Jeff Bergman used to do such a great Daffy, too. (Yes, that's him doing both Bugs and Daffy again!) Goes to show how much time has passed since (Blooper) Bunny.
And while the CGI Road Runner segment looked bad, I wouldn't say that it looks like a bad video game (in fact graphics like that are...
Give me a minute, I'm good at making up words. :busy:
I've got it! 'Godgy'! Short for 'good edgy'! Or maybe 'Cledgy', short for 'clever edgy'! Or how about 'Swedgy', short for 'sharply written edgy'?
...Maybe not. :o
I'm usually so good at this.
