Thanks, glad I could make you smile. Red's suffering is always entertaining! She feels even worse than I did while putting the stripes on those pajamas. I've finally found something more annoying to draw than the banana tree pattern on Wembley's shirt.
A hint on the cap: it'd probably be...
Red the Homicidal Insomniac: It's just so much fun drawing Red at her wits' end. Though I have fanfic in mind, this is actually based on real life, with my brother-in-law in Red's shoes. Poor Ron.
Dumb-hat-for-Gobo alert #4: A ball cap. You get points if you can name who he swiped it from...
Thanks, glad you're liking this thing!
The title is a Mamas & Papas song. As are all of the chapter titles. (I can't explain why I'm doing that; I'm not even a M&P fan. I guess I'm a sucker for a running gag.)
Heh, I have been thinking of Monty Python while writing for The Naysayer...

The Poobahs assembled in the Firefly Cavern with great pomp and ceremony. The roll was called, and established that those who were present were there and those who were absent were not, with a few notable exceptions...
I recently finished The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks. It's about the woman whose cancer cells became immortal in laboratories, creating HeLa, a cell line that has been indispensible in medical and other research. It's amazing stuff; it puts a human face on the issue, showing what her...
If you watch The Great Radish Famine, keep an eye on Marjorie's lower right edge when she talks to Mokey at around 18:00. After she says "Listen up and listen tight" her edge flips up, and again when she gestures dramatically at the end of that scene.
"Red the Homicidal Insomniac" is a possible gag for a future story. If you want to write something around it, go for it! I'd like to see what you come up with.
Heh, you know Janken will be okay in the end. The Trash Heap is right, he has a talent for reaching out, he just has to figure out how to use it. (And it'll lead him in directions he never expected, but that's another story...) I think Wembley may be more bruised than Janken by the end of all...
Wow, is my printing that bad? That's Red, wearing her pajamas with her hair down, saying "Gobo, if I don't get some sleep I will KILL someone, and right now I don't care WHO!"
As for the Smurf hat, heh, it is part of the "Dumb Hats for Gobo" series.
Fraggly Doodly Dump: Another bunch of thumbnails, some for stories I've written, am currently writing, or plan to write. This one has gotten some interesting comments, and none on the subjects that I thought people would pick up on. This is not unusual. Dumb-hat-for-Gobo alert #2: Mouseketeer...

This evening began much the way the previous one had. Boober served dinner in Wembley and Gobo's room because it had the most space, and the entire family ate together while chattering about that night's plans. As...
A few other observations:
In Wembley's Flight, in the final shot with the Spiderfly, you can see the end of the rod dowel when it flies away.
In the opening theme, when Wembley frolics offstage (right before leaping into the pool) you get a good view of his sleeve.
There is a background...
Oh, The Secret Garden was one of my elementary school favorites as well. I ought to find it and read it again. I'm sure it'll feel different to me now, but some books, like Charlotte's Web, are good no matter what age the reader is.
I've been wanting to use those stories from The Little Prince...
Heh, I never noticed that, but then I didn't notice how pudgy Boober is until I saw footage showing the puppeteers working the puppets. It's a lot more obvious when he's not cut off at the waist. I suppose that because Boober is fairly sedentary and Cantus seems to move in slow motion they...
