I thought Red looked a little worse than Gobo, pushing up her sleeve as if she's about to unscrew the lid off a fresh jar of whoopASCII. But, yeah, he does look pretty mean. He does have reason to be very, very ticked at Boober, or at least he thinks he does.
Your explanation of Wembley's...
Nobody has any more clue than I do about that Wembley face, eh? Oh well, it was worth a try.
Wanna Sock in the Nose? Gobo's not talking about laundry. Another pic for fic-in-progress "The Mamas and The Papas." Gobo and Red are under the impression that Boober has been playing hooky...
A new chapter! I coould have a heart attack and die from the surprise--but it's a pleasant surprise, so it's a pleasant heart attack.
Er, that didn't make any sense, did it? Oh, you know what I mean. Thanks for the new chapter! I'm sure others will agree, in much greater detail.
Neato Dorito! Let the voting begin.
I'm assuming that "Best Fan Art" was the 30th category?
One suggestion: it would be cool if there were links to specific threads/posts, where applicable. The easier it is to find items, the more likely people are to read them and make a more informed...
Yes, but his knowing Mudwell's song--the only song Mudwell knew--and having him come out of the earth which was presumably Mudwell's body did imply, to me at least, that he was Mudwell reborn in some fashion. (Or a parasite.)
The prospect of a Gummint Shutdown. I work in a government agency, and there are a lot of people here, regular workers who need the money for car payments and groceries and kids' braces, who will be suddenly without an income if that happens.
I understand that they wanted to end on a high note, but to me to came across as a "but not really." In real life, when someone's gone they're gone, and that's it; a replacement won't just pop up. I don't know if I could write an ending that could get that point across without it being...
That's a sad episode, but for me the saddest part is hearing Richard Hunt's voice singing "Just a Dream Away."
Perhaps this is just me, but I think the ending with the lizardy thing weakened the story, as if they wanted to back away from the issue of death.
Fistface Wembley: It'd be stretching to call this B&W drawing art. It's actually an excuse for me to ask a question. The Wembley puppet has a very flexible face, which gives him a great range of expression. However, there's one face he often makes that I can't read at all. He opens his mouth...
Thanks! The rocks are... well, like Skenfrith, they are whatever you think they are. Crystalline is as good a guess as any. I had several things in mind when I drew it. Quartz for translucency, with bands of color somewhere between the stripes on an agate and the strata you see in the Grand...
My, it's quiet in here.
Leap of Faith: I'm working on another Fraggle story, this one to be titled "The Mamas and The Papas" unless I think of something better. Amazingly, I actually had fun drawing the rocks. Maybe I'm getting used to drawing backgrounds.
Here's a chunk of the scene...
It sounds like you are saying that MF encourages non-member sites by guiding people to the content on member sites only. I don't see how that works.
If MF truly wants to encourage "other Muppet fan sites," an easy way would be to add a links section. That would certainly show goodwill.
Wembley Fraggle as Pogo Possum: Does anyone here remember the comic strip Pogo? Please tell me I'm not the only one. *sobs* I'm so oooold. Well, anyhow, at some point I realizes that Pogo Possum looked sorta-kinda like Wembley. So I drawed him in that style.
