A suggestion... make the default post font something sans serif like Arial or Verdana? It's easier to read sans serif text onscreen. I'd like the default post text to be a touch smaller, too.
I think the box is part of the board's format, as it has a blue border. I'm not too worried about that; I could have seen it coming, in fact, if I'd looked closely at the board before making my icon.
I'd rather have GIF animation, but I'm guessing that's a no-go.
New avatar for me. I went to all the trouble of making the background transparent so he'd look like he was all dynamic and bursting out of the frame, and he ends up in a little white box anyway. Phooey.
I get the impression from earlier posts that animated GIFs won't animate as avatars. If...
I drawed more.
Private Screening: I thought I was being all sneaky and subtle with this one, but apparently not, as everyone seemed to pick right up on this one over at DA. However, only one person figured out which movie they were watching--there is a clue in the pic, believe it or not--and...
I think I had a 24-hour flu. My throat had been sore and I already had a headache, and in fact I'd bought some cold medicine over my lunch break. I felt so awful I went to bed at 7:00 and called in sick the next day, but by the evening I felt perfectly fine. Strange, huh?
I have a friend...
Last week I was walking home in this mid-90s heat. I can take that, but partway through I felt as if the temperature had gone up to 120. I practically crawled the last half mile home, feeling sick and weak. After a few hours I still felt horrible, and found out I was running several degrees...
The one fan letter I sent as a kid was to Walter Lantz. I got his address from Elvina Green, a cel dealer here in Atlanta who I had bought animation art from. He replied and sent an autographed photo, which I framed and have to this day.
My first official bump. I'm honored!
More to come soonish. Here's the beginning of the next chapter. Warning: first draft, so the writing is, er, rough.

To paraphrase Terry Pratchett, the use of five consecutive exclamation points is a sure sign of someone who wears their underpants on their head."
Heh, I haven't Watched this thread. Just the fic and art ones I've started. Hopefully I'll find out for sure before too long.
Aesthetically, it's... different. It may grow on me, or I may come to hate it. For now, it's usable, so I'll wait 'n' see.
Old thread links remain usable! Huzzah! I was afraid they'd be broken all over the place. That'd hose up the links I've posted on DeviantArt illustrations something awful...
Hmm, can I embed DeviantArt pictures here?
...Not using their preferred shockwave thing. Oh well, I know how to get around that.
Clio at the Pond - I settled on Clio for her name 'cause it's simple and pretty and not too important-sounding. She'll appear in the chapter after next of A...
If it's merchandise that someone thinks will sell, and will pay enough to license, and Disney sees no reason not to accept those dollars, then it'll get made. I doubt anyone thinks along the lines of "Does anyone really need these books/T-shirts/pez dispensers/plushies/etc?"
The shots of the village were good. I'd go see a movie like that.
However, the rest of the trailer appalled me. It was.... gah. Pop culture gags. A Smurf falling in a toilet. The lame gag about trying to talk to a girl while secretly holding a critter (that's doing...what?) Predictable...
I want to see some more footage of Gonzo. I didn't care for his new "Muppet Babies" look until I saw the cooking show, and then I positively hated it. To me he looked like he'd had a stroke. I hope they've fixed that.
I'm a big ol' MST3K fan, but the critter the Minstrels run into isn't a reference. However, if you want to take it as such and consider me clever, Feel free!
I've been trying to find reference material for the Minstrels, as I'd love to draw the jam. Especially Cantus playing the bongos. I...
