Cantus stated that they travel around, uniting the Rock with music. The troupe includes beings from at least three different colonies, probably four, as Brio and Cantus look like different subspecies of Fraggle. The first time we saw Cantus was on his first visit to the colony that we know...

A Wandering Heart
Part 4: Silent Heart

Janken came home with a board and some papers. Mica looked up from her sewing. "Hi, Jan."
"Hi."
He sat down, got out some clean paper, and began writing on it, glancing back and...
Red & Poncle: Just a pic of Red and Poncle, her daughter in my fanfics. The kid's well on her way to being a little monkey, just like Red must have been.
The recent chapters of A Wandering Heart have been kind of heavy, and when that happens I get the inexplicable urge to draw innocent, cute...
Sqiunting? I'd never noticed that. I'll have to rewatch that episode this weekend. Funny, I'd played with the idea of him being extremely myopic, so he'd have to squint to bring things into focus, then discarded that idea because he never seemed to be squinting; his face always appeared...
Ooooh, sweet! That's an amazing pic. One thing that made me grin was the groupings, such Oscar & Marjorie, with Bo looking very put-upon, and Scooter right by the Fraggle Five. (I've got a theory that Scooter is half Fraggle.) Wonder why he's sitting on Wembley, though? And of course Fozzie...
Fanfic is the reason I'm asking this! Before I write about something, I want to be sure I have all the data, otherwise I could be caught in embarrassing mistakes, and I'm too stinkin' proud to slack off on research. In this case, I want to be sure that there's nothing that proves that Cantus...
Maybe it's just my nitpicky eye, but Boober's body looked flat because I didn't shade it as much as I should have . I darkened the shadow toward his back and behind and added some more fur texture to round him out.
I may draw the followup, although I don't think it has quite the comedy...
Yes, that does make sense, and it fits well with Cantus' character. Of course he, of all people, would be more focused on the sounds around himself than the sights, although he doesn't completely ignore visuals, as we saw in Junior Faces the Music.
I've got an idea in mind, and I'm trying to...
Thanks. You know that "Whoa!" yelp Boober always does when someone startles him? I imagine that here. And I imagine that immediately afterwards Wembley's going to be helping a grumbly Boober up out of a chair that's fallen over backwards.
I tweaked and reuploaded the picture 'cause I wasn't...
Perhaps we could look at events that people are likely to go to and piggyback on them. For instance, my con of the year is Dragon*Con, the southeast's biggest fandom convention. Many thousands of geekanerds will be there. If some of us will be there, we could set up a time to meet during the con.
I didn't phrase my question very clearly, but I was trying to avoid guiding the answers. Mainly, what I'm trying to find out is whether there's any evidence that Cantus has decent vision.
Without my glasses I'm legally blind. I can read something without my glasses if it's very close...
Thanks! Hopefully I'll be able to go and do a more proper drawing before too long. Note to self: become a member of the CPA. Free admission to the museum would be a great motivator.
Stealth Hug: This started out as an inspirational doodle for A Wandering Heart, but it kind of got away from...
Cantus' vision
Cantus always seems to be gazing off into the distance. It seems to me that even when he's talking to someone he's not really looking at them. I was wondering if we've seen any instances of his doing anything that would require that he actually look at something, for instance...
I'd go with Murray too. Her's got the right attitude to be a minstrel, yet he comes from the opposite direction as Cantus. Cantus is mystical, Murray is down-to-earth. But though they come from opposite directions, they meet in the middle.
Heh, Janken's got some soul-searching in his future. Poor guy doesn't know what he wants to be, only what has always been good enough but is beginning to pall. Trying out new things, and some of them are bound to end in failure. We all know what that's like; we were all adolescents once...

Janken looked at the book he had just finished. He had written every page himself, printing in a careful, steady hand. He had even sewn the binding. Mokey had shown him how and, he thought, the end result looked pretty good...
Hmm, not a FF fan crowd here, eh? Ah well.
My birthday present to myself this year is a week of vacation, which I am in the middle of right now. Since the weather was nice, I went downtown to visit the Center for Puppetry Arts and the Henson/Muppet exhibit therein. However, when I got there...
