"Annoying lobbyists" was a joke, since I was one of those posting in the feedback thread about the size limit. The wink smilie should also have been a hint.
I had Comcast cable for years. They never could get me a clear picture, they kept raising their prices and giving terrible customer service, and even once cut off my cable at a critical time because someone was stealing cable and they couldn't tell who. I finally shut off my cable and now...
The trick is to pace yourself. Heh, the image of drinking a waterfall is a snip from a chapter close to the end of "A Wandering Heart." It's the Fraggle equivalent of drinking from a fire hose, but without the threat of immediate injury.
It's really hard to comment on something like this. I've read the whole thing, but there's so much to read, and it's so intense, it's rather like trying to drink a waterfall.
So, I'ma cop out and say that this was a good installment. One thing I like about your writing is your ability to draw...
The post length limit has been pushed way back thanks to some annoying lobbyists ;) , so the first post in this thread should be editable once more.
Hurm, it looks like edited posts don't display the edit date at the bottom, so it won't be obvious when the index is updated. Feh.
Here are a few of mine, which show post length...
Trials and Tintinnabulations
Red Versus Blue
Commonplace Miracles
Newsmanfan, I suggest you post links to some of yours, as your entries may be longer than mine.
An addition to the post size limit issue: the fanfic section has a stickied index thread, which serves as an index to the fic that has been posted there. It goes back for years, and is a very valuable resource. If the post size limit remains in place, that might be jeopardized, as all that...
Whew. I'm glad we won't have to lose this resource. As for the post size limit... I'm lobbying for an extension of that, but if it doesn't happen, perhaps a new thread, with the first four or so posts being the index (code copied & pasted from the old post, of course), separated by sections so...
Is the problem that old posts are simply not editable by administrators, or that the interface is a problem visually? Has Philip said that it can't be corrected?
I hope so. I've been writing so much "future history," and focusing so much on Janken, I figure it's time to drop back and write a story as close as possible to the original FR format: focus on the F5, no original characters, three acts, learn a lesson at the end. Maybe even a song if I'm...
Heh, in that pic Jan is talking to Scooter. Their first meeting doesn't go that well.
Wembley is in a cage in a story I'm currently working on, the working title of which is "To Serve Fraggles." There are a bunch of doodles for that story there: Boober stirring something, Dr. Boober reading...
I second this. Can the limit be extended or eliminated? I cannot think of any time on this board when post length has been a problem, and the limit does make it a pain to post fanfic which is the only reason I'm here.
Thanks. The names are all references to books by one of my two fave authors, except for two, who are folklore characters. I doubt anyone who doesn't have a library (read: lots of bookshelves piled two-deep with paperbacks) like mine would notice 'em, though.
Next chapter in progress. It'll...
You may have to go to the "Watched threads" section of your profile, list all the threads (as opposed to just the ones with new replies), check all the boxes beside them, and then with the pull-down at the bottom, enable E-mail notifications for all the threads you've checked.
It's a kludge...
Two chapters in one day? Ain't you lucky? Well, OK, not really; this new board won't let me post 2,061 words in one go.

Janken spent the rest of the evening answering the children's questions and letting them tell him about themselves. They were as chattery as Fraggle kids, and after...
